Windsor Gardens Care Center in Hayward neglected C.C. and left him unatended for over a week.He was supposed to do therapy and now he is not walking nor moving his feet. He was walking before. He wasnt fed properly and became anemic , he got a open wound bed sore within 8 days. THIS IS HELL! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES THERE. He got Covid there. THEY DIDNT TELL US THERE WERE Covid patients there.

Windsor is really a substandard Nursing facility. As previously mentioned, the Physical Therapy is Awesome there. The food, room, etc. are less than desirable. My mother received cold food at times and some that was unrecognizable. She experienced theft on more than one occasion. There isn't outings for the residents. The call light is continuously overlooked because they are understaffed The management never really is responsive to any complaints. It's just swept under the rug. There was even an incident where she had bruises that were unreported. When I confronted them, they said she was older and prone to bruising. This place is not a place you want to send your loved ones to. Let my experience lead you to investigate a better place.

Care at this facility was poor. Call bells went unanswered for up to 20 minutes. Only canned fruits and vegetables were providedand on one weekend my dinner consisted only of a chicken salad sandwich. Meals were either cold or lukewarm. The best department in the facility was physical therapy/occupational therapy. The PT/OT staff worked hard to help clients to improve their physical and occupational skills. The housekeeping staff were friendly but did not do a thorough job when it came to keeping the facility clean.
