I toured Carefield Castro Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have great staff, easy layout, and a lot of activities. The residents seemed very nice. The room was really nice and spacious. I looked at the studio only, and that was really nice. They did a lot of movie nights and they have reading groups, all that kind of stuff.

We toured Carefield Castro Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was very nice, clean, and has kind of a medium-sized environment as far as people living there. They're in a good location with access to stores. The rooms were clean, they had studios and shared living spaces. The food looked good, and they had very hospitable caregivers. They've got game nights, TV and movies, and a library. Their courtyard was quaint and small but has a nice setup but their patio area was a little small.

Carefield Castro Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care was a very, very nice place. It seemed to be well managed and well kept. They apparently were significantly under capacity. They're only around forty percent full. The rooms were more expensive than the others, but they're definitely a step up. They seemed to be of better quality, the individual rooms were bigger, and they seemed friendlier. There were activities like movie nights and bingo.

I was very impressed with Villa at Castro Valley and liked it very much. I was quite pleased with it. I didn't care for the apartments because they had no kitchen facilities at all, but they had good bathrooms and good-sized rooms. You eat all your meals at their restaurant.

Eden Villa was small, expensive, and did not allow pets.

My brother put me in Eden Villa. There are about 60 people here. They're rehabbing the place now. The staff members are fine. They give three meals a day and have bingo, but that's about it; I don't participate in activities. I don't care much for the food, but it is OK. The dining area is big, nice, and clean.

What I like most about Eden Villa is the staff and how they care for their residents. They are very friendly and attentive. Their food is a 5, and the place is clean.

Mom has been with Eden Villa about 2.5 years and this is the first time I have written (shame on me) about the Great experience we have had. First off, all the staff know me and mom by name. Second, I have found the staff to be very caring, attentive and super professional at all times. The care mom receives far exceeds what we pay when I compared it to care homes in the eastbay. Mom feels secure and relaxed (that was tough making that happen) and I appreciate the extra attention and time she gets from the staff. Shoutout to Jack in Maintenance and Terri at the front desk for going the extra mile. If you have a parent who needs assisted care I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Eden Villa at their Castro Valley location.

Eden Villas has been great in the care of my brother. We were very pleased with the facility and the friendliness of everyone. It's decorated very nicely and feels like a hotel. The staff seems to know everyone and seems very responsive when we ask something of them. I would definitely recommend Eden Villa.

Eden Villa was 5 plus. The staff was wonderful. The management steps into your issues. My mom was there for 7 years. They took beautiful care of her. She was wheelchair bound for the last 2 years, and she had great skin care and so forth. They did such a great job. They took her outside so she could sit in the front in the little garden. Everything good that you could say, I would say about them. They had stuff all day long. They post a big activities board, and they had various level of participation throughout the day. They had arts & crafts. They brought in music. People would play the piano, and one of the staff liked to sing. They brought the kids in on holidays. They planted a vegetable garden for the patients. When you walked in, one of my uncles said: "It looked like you are in a cruise ship." It was still a facility, but it was nicely decorated, and it doesn't look like a hospital or a skilled nursing. It was a big facility, but it was kept clean. The staff was really nice. The care partners were underpaid, but really went above and beyond.

My mom has been in Eden Villa for quite some time now, and she is doing very well. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I have no complaints about them. They do a good job. They have daily activities like movies, and they also have a beauty salon where the women can have their nails painted. They have musical entertainment frequently, and they do seasonal decorating and social activities. I like them. They are good. It is a large facility, and it is clean. It has a nice outdoor patio, and it has a lot of windows. It is in a good location, and there is a shopping center nearby.

I forgot another reason about the care of my twin aunts. The staff ignored the family's observance of one of my aunts. She was slurring her speech. Many hours went by. They finally got the Doctor to see her and the next day, she had surgery to block the bleeding of her new stroke.

I wouldn't recom. this place. The care is OKAY. But the food isn't that great, it's not worth the monthly pay. The rooms aren't that big. The place is too old fashion.
