Winding Commons is a beautiful place, and I loved its layout. It was furnished beautifully. The people there seemed to be very happy. Most of them were smiling and just saying how much they enjoyed living there and how long they had lived there. It was a very positive experience. There were many with walkers and they seemed to be getting along just fine. I think it was suitable. They appeared to have a doctor that comes in every so often and talks to them about the different medications and how to apply insulin, and that sort of thing. When you check in there to live, you must wear one of those bracelets so they can track you. There are bars for helping people when they're showering or using a toilet, so they seem very adequate as far as that goes. The meals looked wonderful. I didn't have any of the food, but it seemed like everyone was very happy, well taken care of, and active, as they wanted to be. The rooms were more than adequate. They had kitchens, and they all seemed well taken care of, very nice and bright, which I think was important. They looked very nice. The gal that gave us a tour, Hillary, was great. I didn't see all the activities, but they appear to be a very active group. They had the normal things that you see when you're going to an active retirement community. They have a lot of different things that are for sure in that they keep their seniors active as they want to be. It was beautiful, landscaped nicely, and very lush. Everyone seemed to be very happy there.

The people at Winding Commons were so friendly. I love that place. Hilary was amazing. It was beautiful. It was a great location. It was very, very nice. It was in beautiful condition. They showed us everything, the puzzle room, where they had gym equipment, where they did tai-chi, the activities they have, they had a ping-pong table/pool table, had a computer room, they had a library downstairs and upstairs with a big print book, and they had the cafeteria. They just had so much and the grounds were beautiful. They offered food, but we had other appointments, so we could not take it.

I am at Winding Commons and the staff here is very supportive. The housekeepers are very accommodating and the maintenance is taken care of whenever you call. All of them are just very friendly. We have a really good group of serving staff in the dining room. We're enjoying the food that the chef puts out for our brunch and dinner. I think the prices are reasonable for the type of living they provide, with everything included. It's centrally located. There's a grocery store within walking distance (right around the corner), banks, and everything that you would really want are all very close by. It's in a really good location. They're following all the guidelines for social distancing, and letting people know when they possibly might be exposed, so we're always aware of what's going on. They have everybody wearing masks, except when they're eating in the dining room, but in the common areas, we're supposed to wear masks. They do exercises at 9:00 in the morning every day. There's also yoga, indoor golf, bean bag baseball, volleyball, and various games like trivia, board games, and jigsaw puzzles. We have entertainment coming in almost every Wednesday at happy hour, then you can play bridge or poker. It's a good complex.

I went to Winding Commons. I like the landscaping. It was very pleasant as you walked in. It's very welcoming. I was there early afternoon and the inside just seemed kind of dark. Other than that, they had some construction going on, and actually that's a good thing. I can't think of anything really negative about it. Overall, it was pretty pleasant. The staff was very cordial. She was doing her job and taking us around. It wasn't like she was feeling burdened by the whole thing or didn't like her job. She was very pleasant, and it was a good visit all in all. They were friendly. Overall, it was very clean. They answered all my questions. It was just a pleasant visit. I saw what I needed to see, and I was satisfied. The facility is a little older than some of the places, but it's well-kept. I didn't see anything that looked like it needed repairing, and it certainly was not dirty. It felt homey. The room I looked at seemed to be fine, and it looked good. It looked nice outside. Everything looked painted and clean inside.

We were very impressed with Winding Commons. My friend was very happy with it. She loved the friendliness of the tour person. She also loved how nice it was to meet the chef who came out and talked to her. She also liked the look of the apartment. She was really excited about it, but we're not sure if it will be the right place for her now. They showed us a one-bedroom, and she liked it very much. There were lots of storage areas. We saw the dining room, the outdoor areas, and the apartment. The dining area was very open, pretty, and had plenty of space. They had a courtyard and a water feature. It was very nice.

We loved the Winding Commons. We loved the two-bedroom, which was absolutely perfect. The facility is very nice, but it's $4600 a month, which is way over our budget. They were playing beanbag baseball, and they were having a great time. I only talked with one staff member, and she was very nice and very knowledgeable. Because of COVID, their dining facility was closed. They have a garage that you can rent separately, which is nice for us because my friend is still driving. They have a washer and dryer in the apartment, which is nice, too.

My friend was at Winding Commons. It's like an apartment, but it's very independent. I call her all the time, but for three hours, I couldn't get a hold of her, so I asked them to go do a room check, and they got very upset about that. They said, "This is independent living, wait for a few more hours and call her back." That was horrible. I said, "No, no, go check," and they did. It's beautiful, and the staff was OK, but not the people in charge. I went to the front door and asked to be let in to my friend's apartment to get her her things, and they gave me a horrible time. I don't know if it was privacy or if they were afraid because I was somebody else. I had to just call my friend on the phone and then she had to verbally tell them, "Yes, let her in the apartment." It's like they couldn't reason. I'm not going to go in there and steal anything. My friend told me to come, but they just wouldn't do it. They gave her pizza and sandwiches, and she is diabetic. The facility was gorgeous. I'm sure they had activities, but because of COVID, nothing was being done. The food was not good, either. It's independent living, and she paid $4500 a month at that place.

I really liked Winding Commons. It was very clean and very welcoming, and the size of the apartments appealed to us. It was larger than some of the others. The person who toured us was great, very friendly and informative. Everybody's in their room because of COVID. My mom used to live there about 15 years ago. It was a very nice place, and I got the same sort of feeling during the tour. There were activities like in-room bingo and things like that. It's totally different with COVID, but the staff showed me the activity schedule that they normally do, and there's a lot going on for people who want to participate.

We toured Winding Commons Senior Living. It was very pleasant, it was really exclusive, and what they had to offer was appropriate for Mom. They had housekeeping, they offered two meals, there was a hairdresser, transportation, and activities. They had a 24-hour staff. When you walked up to the property it looked like a country club, it was really nice, the facade had trees, fountains, you could hear water going, and the landscape was manicured. Inside was a baby grand piano in the atrium, and it looked like a Four Seasons hotel. The rooms had people's names on a plaque, and the property was beautiful.

We went to Winding Commons. It was really nice, very welcoming, exactly what my aunt-in-law needed, but it was very expensive. The lady was very nice, the apartments were nice to look at, clean, good size, and had good views. The dining area was nice, it's friendly, and when you move in, they have a welcome committee. It smelled good.

We liked Winding Commons the most, but it was a little bit expensive. The facility was cozy and they had a lot of amenities like free wi-fi and housekeeping services once a week. The apartment was really nice. They had two meals a day and exercise classes. The woman who gave us the tour was nice and friendly. It was a warm community. The menu looked good and they had a list of monthly activities.

I liked Winding Commons. I liked that it was smaller and quaint. I liked the rooms looking out onto the river. There was a little fountain area. I liked that most of the rooms had an outside area. The patios have a little bit more room where you can put chairs and plants. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. They have a nice outdoor patio where you can eat.

The nicest apartments we saw were in Winding Commons; they were beautiful and large. The food was excellent.

The man I spoke from Winding Commons represented the area very well. I spent a lot of time there, and the place is really clean. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Winding Commons had the same amenities, but they had a mentor program. If somebody is new, they will provide a mentor, like somebody who has been there for awhile, to help them get used to the place and get them acquainted with people. I thought that was cool because for people who move in, it is a new start. They're trying to make them feel part of the family there, so I thought that was nice. Otherwise, everything was the same as other communities. The place was beautiful and had an area where you can walk around outside, like a courtyard with a fountain, a walkway, and a bridge.

I thought Winding Commons Senior Living was good. It was a very inviting atmosphere, and they had quite a few activities. They have bus service, and they have good food. The apartments are a reasonable size, and they have kitchens in them. If you have somebody visiting from out of town, they do have a room there where he can stay. They also have a family guest dining room if there is a birthday.

Winding Commons is very clean and updated. The people who run it are amazing and are very helpful to my mother. They have a one-bedroom with a living room and a small kitchen with a stove and an oven. The room was very clean when she moved in. The food was good, although it was restricted to low-salt. They have a salad bar out every two meals, and they always have juice, coffee, donuts, and pastries in the lobby. They put yogurt out there for the people. It’s quite affordable because they don’t offer the assisted living, but they can give you numbers for in-home care in case you need it. They have a lot of events: they’re going to see The Music Man next week, and they have workout class for exercise Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. They have a dance class and a happy hour. For now it’s working perfectly for my mom.

The name of the facility is Winding Commons. The place is excellent, and it is really impressive. I was able to check the rooms, and they were very nice. We looked at two bedrooms, and they have two models. One was around 800 square feet, and the other was around 1100 square feet. It has a nice kitchen and two bathrooms. It is very nice. I have tried eating there, and the food was excellent. They have movies, cards, and exercise. They have offsite visits too. I just thought it was the most outstanding facility of all the ones we visited, and we visited a lot. Plus, the price was moderate. We didn't really see anything any nicer than that. We saw some that were comparable, but they were several thousand dollars more. Winding Commons stood out from all the others.

My grandma lives in Winding Commons. I don't think their food is very good, but other than that, it's nice. It's very expensive. My grandma lives in a two-bedroom apartment. She just goes downstairs for lunch and dinner. I go there to see my grandma and I usually take her shopping.
