My husband's mom is at Summerfield of Roseville. It was nice and friendly. It's smaller than the other facilities. My husband thought that this was homier and a better place for her. We like the staff and that's a big decision-making factor. They have activities for her, and I guess they keep her busy. She sounds very happy, and we feel like she's in a good place for now.
The physical condition of the facility is very good. Everything is good. It's clean and well-maintained. The location is close by about 10 to 15 minutes from us. We have dealt with one staff member so far and she is always available via phone. And from what we learned from the initial visits and conversation, they keep the residents busy during the day, like after breakfast until early in the afternoon. I don't know what kind of activity they have, but it seems like they match people together very well. When we got there, there was another resident who came over and greeted us, and she and my mother-in-law seemed to be a good match, so they went along together. I think social time and activities are a good combination. Value for money was very compatible with everyone else, so that's a big factor also. Their prices were much better.

We chose Summerfield of Roseville for my friend because of the staff and the arrangement of the room. It was clean. They have a salon and outside activities.

I was very pleased with Somerford Place of Roseville. Our visit was very peaceful. They were very informative and expecting us, so they answered all of my questions. I wouldn't have been able to afford it because there is no assistance when we don't have insurance long-term. We got to peek inside one nice room that looked comfortable. I was pleased with it. I saw some of the people living there watching TV and responding when the staff was talking to them. I was very pleased with the staff. If I could afford it, I'd be there. They had a major waiting list and were just getting ready to clean it up with some paint.

Somerford Place of Roseville was nice and accommodating for the clients. They had an adequate one-bedroom apartment. I saw that they had a craft room, dining room, and different kinds of games and activities. The people there were very nice. The place was clean and smelled nice.

My experience with Somerford Place of Roseville has been positive. The administration all the way down to the nurses are super friendly, very concerned, and really warm. I find the building to be homey and warm in this little community. They have different activities everyday, and it seems to be all day long. Mom is in a small room, but it's got a really big bathroom, and it's cozy. It was built for memory care. I love the way the residents can wander around all day and think they're in new places but really, they're not, because of the way they have designed the building. They can also walk around the pathways outside for a long time and never really go anywhere because of the way they had it decorated; it looks like they're going all over the place.

Somerford Place was OK. I just did not care for the rooms. We did a tour, and we saw the kitchen, the dining area, the place where they watched TV, and the courtyard. It was pretty nice. I just did not like that they had roommates. Everybody was very nice, and the residents were active.

My dad is in Somerford Place of Roseville. It is remarkable, and the staff does a very good job. They are helpful and friendly to me. He is in a big shared room with a shared bathroom. I will definitely, absolutely, 100% recommend it.
