About This Community

Roseville Commons is Placer County's number one senior living community. We've expanded our activity room to take full advantage of the view of our beautifully landscaped courtyard, complete with water feature and gazebo. With the expanded Rose Room, dancing, happy hours, and themed events like luaus, mardi-gras, and karaoke nights, are just some of the events you can take advantage of at Roseville Commons Independent Senior Living. Small pets are welcome! And coming soon: a lovely new outdoor dining patio with comfortable conversation areas next to our bubbling fountain.

Great location

Our Roseville location is right off the freeway and right next to shopping. Our residents love being connected by a walking path to Roseville Square, where they can conveniently run banking and grocery errands to stores including Rite Aid and Trader Joe's. Sutter Roseville Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Hospital and medical offices are nearby.

My mom will be moving into Roseville Commons next month. It is in a great location. The people there are super nice. It just fits our needs and it's within our budget, too. The room had a small kitchen, a stove, an oven, and a refrigerator. The staff who assisted us, Drew, was awesome.

We toured Roseville Commons. I would be concerned about the location. It's behind a strip mall, so I would be concerned about my car getting broken into. My dad drives a Jeep Cherokee so he would be parking in the lot that's kind of open to the public. It's not the best area. I would be concerned about crime. It's a beautiful place. They have water features and beautiful rose gardens. I liked it. They have weekend happy hour, bingo, and all kinds of stuff. That would be my kind of place. Their eating area had an outdoor patio where you could sit outside and eat. However, it just was not as classy as the other place, and I didn't care much for the parking lot. It's just not that great of an area at all. It is not the best neighborhood, so that was kind of a concern, especially when my dad is still able to drive, and getting in and out of his vehicle would have been safer in the other place. They have very nice people though, and their rooms are nice. They have a stove and an oven in the room.

I went to Roseville Commons. It didn't have as many amenities as the other one we visited. It was older. It had no overhead lighting. The toilet didn't seem to be ADA compliant as far as the height of the toilet. It was close to shopping. The staff was very friendly. The facility was well maintained but older. They had a library and a computer room. It was a smaller complex, so they didn't have as many amenities, any that stuck out.

My mother will be moving into Roseville Commons. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. They welcomed us to actually have a meal there. The food was very good. It's a great location, very convenient to lots of things in the neighborhood. It's a well-run operation. The building itself is not new. I've seen other places and this goes far and beyond what I've previously seen at other places.

One of the places I liked was in Roseville, it's called Roseville Commons Senior Living and what I saw was independent living. I liked the fact that it looked like an established neighborhood. There are homes around it. You look out and see nice buildings, nice homes, and the streets are well cleaned up. There's a shopping center right there that you can walk over to. It's also within about a mile or so from one of my doctors and it's fairly close to the hospital. Besides being beautiful, the staff who assisted was very professional, very friendly, and very open. She didn't force anything and just sort of showed everything as we walked around. I ate there and instead of eating alone or something like that, there were 3 residents of the place that sat down with me and we had a chance to talk that way. They liked the place a lot. The food was also good. They have some minor types of activities. They are doing a lot of stuff in terms of exercising. The only thing is that they don't have assisted living there. It's independent living only so if ever I have to move to assisted living, I would have to find another location. That's the downside of it. I'll be very frank, I also saw some homeless people around the shopping center close to it. I just wondered if they wander near the facility too. They park their cars outside so I don't know how vulnerable the cars would be.

I visited Roseville Commons. Strictly independent living, there's no assisted living there which interests me, cause the age range was younger. The facility was nice, and everything was clean. They were making upgrades. The apartment was in decent size. It had a nice patio for my dog they were even willing to put up a patch for him. It was nice I liked it.

My mother spent 13 very happy senior years here. The apartments are beautiful and roomy with full kitchens with stove and refrigerator. Roseville Commons is well-run with caring, friendly staff, who never fail to answer questions or meet the needs of the residents. The location is ideal with Roseville Square within walking (or scooter-riding) distance - with a Trader Joe, Rite Aid, Starbucks, banking, etc. so handy. Outings, games, live entertainment weekly, exercises and other activities are offered. Dining room meals, transportation to doctor and shopping, and an on-site beauty parlor are among the amenities. There is a friendly companionship among the residents--tho one may also live as privately as one may choose as well. Or with a beloved pet. This is a very comfortable, safe place to call home.

Roseville Commons was clean, but it's old and it didn't have the amenities like the others did. I was not too thrilled with it, and the staff wasn't as friendly either. I would suggest hiring friendlier staff and doing some upgrades to the facility because it's very old.

I think that Roseville Commons is excellent, and I like it among all the places we've looked at. Each resident has their own apartment and all of it is enclosed so my mom doesn't have to go outside. It's just very nice. They offer exercises every day, they have entertainment come in, puzzles, they have 2 libraries, there are just too many things for the residents and it's wonderful. The cleanliness and up-keeping is excellent, it's gorgeous, clean and well-managed. Their food there is delicious.

Roseville Commons was nice. I saw most of the rooms and I liked that it did have a range, a stovetop, an oven, and a small kitchen. What I didn't like was that you could still see some repairs that needed to be made. She took me to a second floor room. Looking down into the outside common area, you could see several of the beams that had dry rot and some painting that needed to be done. That's not pleasing, but it doesn't ruin the integrity of the building. It's just not aesthetically pleasing. I don't get many activities. Things were based around Thanksgiving and family stuff, and there were puzzles to do. The staff member during the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable.

I moved my Uncle John from San Mateo into Roseville Commons with his lil' puppy and both were welcomed with open arms. One would have thought the move would have been very difficult after leaving his home and friends that he had for years, but it wasn't. My Uncle John is deaf, even with a hearing device, but still mad many friends at Roseville Commons. The wonderful thing is you may choose to participate or not in the actives offered. The location is excellent with all the close restaurants, banks, food and clothing stores within scooter or walking distance. The real gem is the staff. They treat their residences with respect, dignity and truly care for them. They have so much patience with each and every residence. Marlene was my go to girl, but ALL staff, from housekeeping, to dining room to front office were wonderful. If there is a concern for your loved one, they will call you. After five years at Roseville Commons my uncle needed more care and sadly I had to move him to residential care. Thank you Roseville Coomons.

Roseville Commons was very nice, but they didn't have what we were looking for. It was a very close walk to places like Smart & Final and Trader Joes. The rooms and staff seemed very nice. The food was very good.

I ate breakfast at Roseville Commons with a friend. I thought it was very good. The person who showed us around was very friendly and very nice. The dining room was very colorful and bright. The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t have parking, and I did not like their apartments. They need to be upgraded.

I really liked Roseville Commons, but my mom didn’t feel safe there. She felt the hallways were a little dark, outdated, and kind of gloomy, and she wasn’t comfortable. The accommodations were very well suited to her needs, and they had activities that she would have been interested in, like ceramics. They had an in-house hairdresser. The grounds were beautiful and easy access to walk out right to the Roseville Commons shopping center that has a Trader Joe’s and shopping. The affordability was better there.

I liked Roseville, this was one of my favorites, and the visit was very good. The staff was very friendly, and the people there seemed very happy. The rooms were very nice, and they're older, but they're very well maintained. The price was a good value, and the location was very good if you don't have a car; you can actually walk from there to shopping, and the security seemed adequate.

Roseville Commons' rooms were too small. The two-bedroom was only 748 square feet and had one bath, small kitchen, and a balcony. It was cheaper. The price was up to $3,897 with a $1,500 community fee, security deposit, second person charge of $700, so you're looking at $4,500 a month for two people. The staff was good. The grounds and amenities were nice. What we liked the most was that there were two meals a day. Anything you need extra, you have to pay for, whatever level you're in. They provide a full kitchen. There's just not enough closets, and the bathrooms are small. It's pretty expensive. They have 98 one-bedroom units but only 10 two-bedroom units.

Roseville Commons was fine but seemed dark and dingy. The lady that I toured with was very knowledgeable, nice, and outgoing to the staff and residents. The overall impression of the place was that it needs a little more updating. However, it’s on a quiet street, and the location is safe and nice. It’s very lovely, and the grounds were kept very nice. I thought the units were a little bit on the small size but sufficient.

Roseville Commons was very nice, and we were very pleased. The night we visited, we were invited for dinner at the dining room, and it was large and spacious. The food was very good, and we went to a social room also.

Roseville Commons is a walking distance to a bank, right around the corner from the drugstore, and close to Kaiser Center Roseville and medical offices. They have apartments, and my parents could go here as long as my mom’s memory doesn’t get any worse where they would have to bring in help with my dad with her to give him some freedom and some breaks. They have exercise classes, meals, and everything for both of them, but if mom gets worse they wouldn’t be able to take care of her. That was the only issue but I very much liked it, and I actually found out later that I have a patient who had moved there. They have a walking path to the Roseville Square Shopping Center; my dad could put my mom in the wheelchair and take her out for coffee in the morning or go over to go shopping. Everything they need would be in walking distance and like 3 minutes from my office, which is wonderful. They have lot of activities like dancing, happy hours, Mardi Gras, karaoke, and they can take their dog with them. They’ve got a new outdoor patio that they just finished, so people can just sit outside and walk the dog. They have staff you pay extra for if they can come in and help my dad and mom, help her with showering if he can’t do it, and they have a hair salon there.

We had a tour at Roseville Commons and I can say that it's an older place, but it's really clean and nice. The rooms looked suitable for a senior. When we went there, I saw some residents' playing cards, but nothing really structured.

I went to a tour in Roseville Commons. But my love one ended up with me since he wasn't ready to move in any kind of facility yet. So he's with me since December. We're fine. I remember when we visited the place I met the one director and I tour the facility. It is a really nice place. If I was in the same situation I would not have any problem going there. It looks more like a nice hotel. For elderly people who want some independence it's literally right behind a shopping center so they can walk there easily. It's so close and get their vegetables in the grocery and whatever else they might need. I only went 1 day but based on what I saw my self and looking at the people who were living there and all their smiles. They seems to be really happy. I would definitely recommend Roseville Commons to others.
