About This Community
CiminoCare is first and foremost a family business. All of our senior services are based on the standards set by founders John and Wilma Cimino, who opened their first residential elder care community in Burlingame in 1988. Our Italian heritage forms the cornerstone of our approach to elder care. We strive for dignified living characterized by 'old world hospitality,' and we seek to make excellent and compassionate care accessible to seniors and their families.

Burlingame Villa is our memory care community for seniors with Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. Continuous staffing ensures comfort and peace of mind for the residents and their families. We provide 24-hour personal care and assistance in daily life activities, and we work alongside our residents' medical teams to support their physical needs. In addition, residents enjoy a full range of planned social events in a very family-friendly environment

My family member received such loving and beautiful care at Burlingame Villa. The staff was attentive to every need, and truly provided the best care. The surroundings are beautiful, with a well-kept garden that is peaceful and serene. My loved one was kept safe, well-cared for and enjoyed the loving community at BV. The food, activities, and attention to all the details made for a beautiful home-like environment. When my family member passed away, the staff of BV was right there with us at each step; loving up to the end. I won't consider any other place for a memory care than BV. Look no further!

I would not send my father to Burlingame Villa at all. The outside appearance and the location were very nice. However, the person I was supposed to meet was late, so someone else showed me around the different floors. Most of the people were in wheelchairs and their heads were over to the side, it was almost like they were comatose. I couldn't see my father being in a place like that. He needs communication, not just to be put into a great room with the TV on. Everybody looked like they were completely out of it.

Burlingame Villa was quite depressing, and I did not like it at all. Mom has got more function than the people living there. The rooms were bare, and it didn't seem like it had enough staff. The place was not very large, and the area where they ate was the same area where they did their activities in. The garden where they walk was very small.

We looked at Burlingame Villa because it was closer to us. For us, it was just too expensive. Everything else was nice. The staff was all fine, they were friendly and accommodating. Whatever we asked, they answered. For me, the accommodations were perfect.
