About This Community

At Bella Vita Senior Living, we want our residents to thrive. We offer much more than assistance with daily living activities and 24-hour awake caregivers. We serve a varied menu full of healthy, comfort foods. We balance this with a daily movement program designed to encourage exercise and an engaging activities program that keeps our residents mentally and physically acute.

My wife and I began Bella Vita Senior Living with a dream and a heart to serve. We are a 6-bed residential care facility specifically designed to care for seniors. At Bella Vita Senior Living, the joy and dignity of our residents are our number one priority. We are committed to offering the necessary assistance with warmth, compassion, and respect. While in our home, our goal is to give our residents a "Bella Vita"...a Beautiful Life!

Bella Vita Senior Living was our second choice. The facility was clean. It was set up nicely for my mom. The staff was informative. The rooms were clean. The backyard was nice and clean. Everything was green.

Bella Vita Senior Living was very peaceful. They were accommodating for meals because they were serving both lunch and breakfast. They had a very nice area outside in the backyard, and it was a very quiet community. Even though it's right next to a high school, they said they don't hear a lot of commotion or noise going on in that area. The bathroom for the single room which my wife would have would be separate. It was in a hallway just outside the door. A drawback with that smaller facility is that my wife has many and frequent visitors, which they didn't approve of. In talking to the manager, because my wife is aggressive and with one person at nighttime, they felt that she wouldn't fit there. Being a small facility (there were only three residents there, but they could have five or six in total), to have that one caregiver give all the attention to my wife needing more attention, she wouldn't have enough to take care of others. There are three other bedrooms and most of them had a bath between two rooms. The room that my wife would probably go into would have a bath outside. It had a large countertop area next to the kitchen and a kitchen table next to it. There was plenty of room for them to get in and out, plenty of seating, and they had a large screen TV that they were playing music on at the time and they could watch movies. One of the guests had just finished his breakfast at noontime, so he went and sat in a chair and the gal went and got him a blanket just to make sure he didn't get cold and so he could settle in there and be relaxed. They shared that they could be back in their rooms any time they wanted or come out any time they wanted. If they didn't like the meal they served, they would have alternatives to feed them. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and accepting and said that she would take an aggressive person, which they've done in the past. However, the manager I talked to later on the phone said it wouldn't be fitting for them.
