Ok I was a resident of this facility for 4 months. During this time I was nursed back to health kinda lol. Until I had a stroke a week later but that was not their fault at all . The rooms I was in were fine. Nice roommate. PT & OT were great to me. Most Nursing staff was on it. Very friendly and I actually felt like we were friends at times. Played bingo n such was fun. Great prizes like wireless headphones and a wireless speaker. Food was as u can probably imagine not so great. Problems I had were mainly at night. patients literally screaming "nurse, nurse!!!" ALL NIGHT. I would push the call button and it sometimes took up to 3 hours for a response. Communication with my transportation was horrible. But I guess that is an insurance problem. one of the charge nurses Juan was absolutely amazing. Nurse Roberto was awesome as well. Thinking about it I'm changing my rating from 3 to 4

I went to see my friend and he is confined to his room all day. The staff will not let him go outside because "he cant afford to get sick." Okay, well open his blinds during the day and allow him to turn his T.V. up. Come into his room and have him walk during the time he is confined in his room. He is not getting his exercise. The staff look like they are chickens running around with no heads. They avoid you and your questions... I was very upset that they really look like they work there for a check not to care for anyone. SMH...

They are very attentive with their patients. All the staff were very helpful and that’s how they always seem to remain.

Friendly and attentive workers. The facility was clean without the "nursing home" smell.

Caring staff with a close nit community. Has a resident care unit with therepy services to help restore both residents and patients back to their comfortable selves.

Dad is at Norwalk Meadows for about three to four months now. It’s a small nursing home and the place is very nice and clean. The staff as well as the patients are all very nice.

Norwalk is a well-kept facility. My mother has been there since September. The staff are very responsive and caring. However, we are seriously contemplating transferring her to another facility. My mother is staying in a room with two other patients and because of this I'm just concerned room about cross-contamination. Also my mom has feeding tubes, so she doesn't even get the meals. I'm a little skeptical about this place.
