The Village at Sydney Creek is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, clean, and spacious. It wasn't overwhelming. It was safe. The building was definitely built for its purpose. The staff was very positive, very open, and easy to talk to. Her manner was very energetic. The information that she provided with her knowledge of the facility was exquisite. My husband has a limited diet that he can eat. All I checked was what he can eat, which is for dialysis patients. Their food can accommodate various diets. I think they have about five activities a day. There's music, a noodle and balloon (kind of like a volleyball type thing), and chair exercises.

My wife is in The Village at Sydney Creek, and she'll be here two years in November. It's great, except they're too expensive. The staff is the best you can get. She's in a shared room, it's clean, and they keep everything clean. The food is good, I've eaten there, its filling; you get enough to eat, and it's made by hand. They've got activities every day, they've got crafts, music, and they've got a lot of things keeping them busy.

My mother is in The Village at Sydney Creek (Sydney Creek). They're understaffed, the quality since she's been there has gone straight downhill. They used to have licensed nurses in there, now there isn't even an LVN, and they're all just caregivers. My mother suffered a severe stroke there, we're paying $9,000 a month for specialized care, but there's not even a nurse there. They didn't take her to doctors appointment, but they finally got a dentist in there four months ago. Her room is not as nice, she's in a black room that was painted up, the vanity looked 50 years old, it was a mess, and the toilet was so scraped up it was black underneath the white. It was completely overcrowded, it's tragic, and they didn't do what they promised to do. The food they served to the residents was served on ugly, orange, plastic plates; it was unappetizing, I don't think they were given real forks, and everything was supposed to be chef prepared. They don't have chefs anymore, but cooks putting together everything. If I could give them a zero, I would.

The Village at Sydney Creek is very expensive, but it is very nice, and very well kept. Actually, I feel like I wanted to put myself there. I would recommend it if you have the money to pay for it. It is also the only place that has a lock facility. The staff members are very nice and knowledgeable. The patients are well taken care of. The rooms are sufficient. They aren't overly decorated, but they are nice.

I like the staff, the facility, and the care my uncle is getting at The Village. He has been there for two months, and I’m very happy with where he is now. He is safe there.

I thought that Sydney Creek (The Village at Sydney Creek) was very high quality. I was very impressed, and we were very happy with the organization. We were going to actually place my mom there. Their dining area and food were very high quality. The rooms were really wonderful and definitely very spacious. They had activities like music and art, and they had a community gathering time, which was wonderful. My mom enjoyed that. I liked that they were highly knowledgeable about the process of Alzheimer's and dementia. They had a very highly skilled facility list of 5-1 ratio of caregivers, and they had many activities that were very patient-oriented and individually-oriented. It was just overall exceptional facility.
