My sister is at Knolls West Convalescent Hospital. She's in assisted living. They're pricey to me but they're okay.
The staff are sometimes very helpful and other times they're not.
She's in a room by herself and I don't think the carpet is very clean, updated, or whatever. They shampooed it, but it still looks really dirty. There were holes in the walls and they just painted over them. For what they charge, I don't like it, but it is what it is.
They do bingo, they have Bible studies, they do crafts and stuff like that. My sister has some friends there that she interacts with every day. They have a courtyard and I know that they say she goes and gets her hair done, so I'm assuming they have a hair salon too.

I can never reach patient. Have requested updates on patient and it never happens. Care givers are rude and impatient to family members. Long term stays to add to billing. The run around is outrageous. Do not put your family member Here!!

Does anyone else have issues when calling to reach a resident? I call several times and have difficulties getting through. Sometimes for days!
Addressed with Terry / administrator, but she stated no one else has complained about not being able to reach their family.
