We used Kindred for a one week fill in for our regular caregiver who has been with us for years. The work was in a senior living dementia home. The caregiver didn't do anything on the list of items for 4 days. When I caught onto it after the second day and called the company they didn't help me at all. They did not question the caregiver, and treated me as if I was making things up - good lord. I waited 3 weeks to finally speak with a supervisor and she was unprofessional and rude -actually yelled at me until I just hung up. Holy cow, what a nightmare and I paid full rate for that service. My mother received nothing for it.

We used Kindred only for fill-in work for short stints and have had all around bad experience. The caregiver didn't do anything for our mother except physically be present, no chores at all and was happy to let the work go to the next caregiver. Kindred was difficult to access, and did not address the issues. in the end became defensive and rude about negative feedback with no appreciation for how hard this can from the family's end to get care. Horrid experience and would never use them again.

I've used Kindred at Home in Pleasant Hill. They just weren't able to provide anybody who's qualified to do the care. Only 1 out of the 7 people they sent to us has been good. The rest of them either don't show up when they're supposed to, nobody comes nor calls and it's been tough. I've got pneumonia right now and I'm doing it all myself. The people they sent aren't capable of getting my mom up to get cleaned, or they haven't been able to help with the lift. Or they just came and asked for the wifi password and watch YouTube videos all day, it's crazy. My mom just needed help with basic things. One girl was great and I'm still using her help for 3 days a week. The rest of their services I found horrible. The caregivers come here and sit down, if my mom wanted something to eat they'd get up and get something for her. Other than that they'd just want to sit on the rug. They just sent random people who are not even caregivers. I would rate the agency a 3 and their caregivers, with the exception of one girl, a zero.

The service I received from Kindred at Home was attentive and warm. They helped me get to my doctor appointment safely and made me feel comfortable. Gigi, my caregiver, had a lovely personality. She's a keeper! I highly recommend and would use Kindred again.

Alex K. helps me with my mobility and transports me to dialysis three times every week and does miscellaneous errands for me. He is a god send to me. It would be hard to function without him. Always dependable. Household help and additional transporters, like Gloria and Glynns are always helpful.

When my husband fell and broke his ankle, he was admitted to the hospital and afterwards Kindred helped us so much. Our caregiver, Derek, was like a son. So helpful and supportive, and with him and other caregivers, like Dennis, I learned how to better care for Fred. Clive and Kindred were there for us through hospital admissions and back home again. I recommend choosing Kindred at Home Pleasant Hill.

I would highly recommend Kindred at Home to anyone who is looking home care services. I'm really pleased with Kindred and their services and caregivers. They've been able to accommodate my personal needs, help me get my meals and care about my safety and well-being. They continued to check on me even when I got admitted to the hospital and followed my progress at the rehab facility. Thank you for being there when I really needed help.

Ingrid was compassionate at our time of need. She was responsive and helpful when my Dad discharged from the hospital after a bad fall and was there for our family throughout his stay in a post-acute facility and helped us get great caregivers when he went home. All 3 of the caregivers provided by Kindred At Home get an A plus! They took initiative, asked what they could do to help, and genuinely cared about the health, safety, and well-being of my Dad.

Our caregiver was a very responsible young man and cared for my husband's wellbeing. Having Kindred Care provided to my husband gave our family a sense of peace of mind. Thank you for that!

We got Kindred at Home for 24-hour care for our Mom. She started out with them, moved to a facility, and now we have them again. If you haven't established the connection with their caregivers, it's not the best situation. We moved her to a facility because people didn't show up. But, now she has a regular staff and she loves them. They've totally bonded, and they're responsible for her complete improvement. If you need somebody for a couple of days because you're going out of town, you need to ask way ahead of time. Doing it last minute, especially on weekends, is very difficult. The caregiver helps with everything. She cooks, cleans, is a companion, urges her to keep moving when she doesn't want to, keeps her positive thinking, and goes to the doctors' appointments. I left a journal for them, and they talk to each other. They care and some are actual nurses. They come and talk to my mom and make sure she is happy. They really make a difference. I really love that a lot of them have medical backgrounds. I didn't know things about medications when she got home or how some of the medications would counter each other, so we were clumping them together and it was causing problems, and the nurse saw it right away and told us to hold on. She saved her life. Having that medical background is huge. I like that they're on time; that's very important. The fact that they communicate with one another is really nice and that they are personable, clean, and take initiative.
