Serra Sol is a welcoming community where individuals with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia can feel fulfilled, cared for and engaged each and every day. We provide an environment that fully supports the needs of those with memory loss. Residents of Serra Sol will enjoy daily activities and outings, many of which are customized to their specific interests and passions. We feel strongly that those with memory loss can live life to the fullest with our support.

Serra Sol Memory Care didn't look like an institution. It was modern looking. The staff was so attentive. They showed me the rooms. I like the room. We already picked out a room for my husband, and I liked the amenities that they offered. It's memory care. It's new, it's only about a year old. We did meet the chef, and he seems to want to cater -- in fact, my husband's Hungarian. And he asked my husband, What kind of food do you like? And my husband says, Hungarian. And he says, " Oh, I'll have to get some recipes." So I was impressed with the chef. It was so clean with no smells, no odors at all. They had large outdoor living spaces for visiting. You can visit anytime, day or night. Another thing I loved about the place, at least five days a week. They take the residents out in the van and they'll either go to the beach or go somewhere, or even if they just drive around. So in the afternoons they get them out, they just don't let them stay there, not just have to stay there all day long. I put a deposit on a room and they hold that particular room for 30 days. So now I have to go to the doctor. He has to have the doctor fill out forms. They're going to send a nurse out to the house to evaluate him. And they haven't made that appointment yet, but they'll be doing that shortly. He doesn't have to go there. They'll come to our house and evaluate his condition.
