I visited Tara Hills Care Home, which is a board and care home. I thought it was nice. It's just a house, and it reminds you of a residential home. Once you get inside, it's a little different. There's a kind of a central area, and the rooms are around the kitchen and the common area. They have a very high staff-to-resident ratio, there's always somebody there 24-7. Everybody that I met was really nice, caring, and knowledgeable. It's very obvious that they're interested in the welfare of the residents. The amenities are not what they're focused on; they focus on care. There aren't a lot of whistles and bells and not a lot of amenities. It looked clean and well kept up. They're near pharmacies and close to grocery stores. They're very close to large medical facilities.
