When I took my wife to Life Care Center Of Yuma, I got there just after the transport that brought her from Phoenix. She was still on the gurney and hadn't gotten in a room yet. It was a while before they got her into a room. I handed them a chart that shows exactly what meds she gets, its dosage, when she gets it, how much, what the drug is, and what it does. I handed it to the nurse to make sure she gets is, because she had a couple of drugs that were critical. During her stay there, instead of improving, she was going drastically downhill. Finally, my wife's rheumatologist had called us and asked if my wife was still on her 10 milligrams of Prednisone. The nurse right there with the drug cart said that she wasn't getting any. With polymyalgia, she cannot go without that. One thing they need to improve is to pay more attention to what's going on. Number two, they're short-handed. You can press the button for service and it might be an hour before you get it. The nurse might come in and say, "Okay, I'll be back in a minute.", but there might be another hour before they come back and do what they were supposed to do to start with.
