I chose Ark of Life for my mom because it was clean and there were only ten people there and they all pretty much stay to themselves and don't bother anybody. It seems to be working for the moment. My mom can have a private room, which is good for her. The food is just not very quality food and isn't prepared so elderly people can eat it. My mom doesn't have teeth, so it's a hard process to get her fed. It takes her two hours and nobody has the time to spend and feed her for that long, so I go every night and feed her. The place is clean, but not my kind of clean. Their activities are very limited.
