The rooms at Willow Wind were nice. Their food was not very good; it was not very tasty.

We chose Good Samaritan Society - WIllow Wind because my brother’s parents-in-law live there, and he knew the community intimately. We all liked it. They provide all nursing services -- tracking my mom’s medications, giving them to her. They provide house cleaning, but it was not good. But overall, they were pretty good. My mom has a lovely one-bedroom apartment. One of the reasons why we are moving my mom out was basically the housekeeping -- the care of the apartments, laundry services, the cleaning. We ended up hiring an outside caretaker to come in once a week to do her shopping. But overall, I would still recommend this facility.

Willow Wind Residence was very clean, and the people that we had talked to had been very friendly and helpful. My mother really liked the room. It was not just like a square one; it had a different kind of angle. They had church services, and they take the residents out for shopping. We had lunch there, and the food was pretty good.

Willow Wind Residence was a very nice facility. It was all in one floor and it was laid out well. It was also clean. The room that we looked at was a one-bedroom and it had all the amenities that we felt that would be needed. The staff was engaging and helpful. Overall, I would encourage others to look at this facility.

The Willow Wind Residence assisted living facility was recommended by a friend in the region as an option for our parents. The backyard featured many places for seniors to enjoy around the grounds safely. The property also had plenty of park-like space with tranquil, large trees and nicely manicured lawns. It looked like a very nice, livable community with a home-style atmosphere. We could see that the residents there were content and well cared throughout the facility. We could see as we walked through the building, how the entire interior design was nicely ordered and easy to navigate. Each room had nice views with calming colors and lots of fresh air and light. Activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. Residents can also tend the garden. Each private unit has nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. They were all decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy feel. The food looked and smelled delicious, as well as healthily prepared. The menus included many interesting dishes, as well as the usual American fare. Snacks are offered regularly throughout the day and whenever residents desire them. The main dining room had a comfortable and spacious decor. The residents are offered healthy, home-style cooked meals in a casual restaurant setting and can also enjoy the formal dining room for special events and private parties. The exercise center included daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day with supervision as necessary. Residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden paths. The activities calendar included many stimulating things, like nature walks, visits into town for cultural events and the opportunity to enjoy all that Prescott and the surrounding area offers. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation.The residents all looked very well cared for by capable staff. All seemed to really enjoy living in this nicely designed senior living environment.
