My husband is in Friendship Village Palliative Care - Unit Hospice of the Valley for rehab. It's a wonderful place, it looks more like a hotel than a nursing home. So far, it seems to be going fine and they seem to be very caring. They got his medications back on track. The physical therapy, they say they're doing it in the room. They all seem very caring and responsive to his needs, like when he needed some special medication, they ordered it right away. They wanted me to bring up his walker. I brought up his walker and they marked it right away. Their rooms are big, private and it's clean. So far, everybody's been very responsive if you need something. I've seen a couple of meals, and my husband says it's pretty good. It's a lot better than the hospital food and it looks fine. They can't do anything right now because he's not vaccinated, so he's in quarantine, but they have activities. I'm not paying for anything, he's on Medicare right now.
