About This Community

The Landings of Prescott Valley offers seniors an all-inclusive lifestyle that provides assistance with activities of daily living, such as medication management, transportation and personal care. Service is available 24/7, and The Landings of Prescott Valley ensures that you or your loved one receives care in a comfortable and engaging environment.

The Landings of Prescott Valley takes a holistic approach to caring for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We pair this individualized care with our life-enrichment activity program, designed to keep our residents active, fulfilled, and engaged.

We also offer respite care, or short-term stays, which is a good option for seniors who want to give their normal caregivers a break, recover after surgery or other medical issues, or simply want to test the waters before making us their new home. Our respite guests will receive all the same benefits as our full-time residents.

The people at The Landings of Prescott Valley were pleasant. I saw everything I needed. It was clean and well taken care of. Everything was neat. I've watched it get built for the last three years. COVID slowed the start of it down. It started with a smaller facility and they doubled the size of it once they started. They had their first building permit and then they doubled it because we're short of a retirement community around here. The staff was friendly. I just had the one that took us through it and showed us areas that were coming into play with the care that my wife needs. The facility looked good, but it's just built on vacant land, so there were no trees around it. There wasn't much landscape, but it was all neat and clean. There were no weeds or anything. It's a pleasant-looking place, but nothing outstanding for being the kind of a facility that it is. Nothing is distracting about it. It's a new building. You don't have trees and you don't have shrubbery or stuff. It's still growing. The staff during the tour was thorough and complete with what she could show us.

I have placed my wife into The Landings of Prescott Valley. It's a beautiful new facility. It has just opened in April. They have a memory care for 30 patients and she's number 6, so nobody has ever been in her room. It's pretty close to the hospital too. One of the things I like the most is that it is brand new, but it has been built with the patients in mind for the memory care. It is very light with lots of windows. There is an atrium in the memory care. There's very wide hallways; my wife wants to wander all day long. The rooms are furnished very nicely, very much like home. There is a beautiful view out her window. She can see the Mingus Mountains, and there are flowers in the front that she can look at. We are getting ready to take some of her things to her. They will hang pictures on the wall for us. She got her radio and other personal items that she can have in her room to make her surroundings seem more familiar. I checked her in last Wednesday. They got her in there very quickly because I needed that. I had knee surgery. They were so accommodating and so generous and nice. I can't say enough good things. The staff there is just amazing. They're really great people. They have made special meals for my wife and brought them to her room. Because it's only four months old, everything is brand spanking new, and I'm sure they'll keep it that way. They are letting her do the activities that she wishes to do, and they're monitoring that. She wanders, so they have a floater that kind of looks after her. She can't wander out of there, but just make sure that she's OK. Sometimes they open the atrium door up, and she wanders outside. It's an all-enclosed atrium. She's able to walk out there and come back. They always have people that are constantly supervising, so nothing bad could happen. It was by far not the most expensive that I looked at.
