Mom moved into Westchester Care Center about three weeks ago. I think they do fairly well dealing with her. The staff seems pretty good, so far. The place looks OK and the location works pretty well for me. Mom is in a double room, which works well enough for what she needs.

Mom is at Westchester Garden Court, and it's a great facility. I highly recommend their assisted living facility. She has a one-bedroom apartment. The nurse that works there is extraordinary. I would say that 95% of the caretakers are above average and excellent. There was only caregiver there that I didn't like. Mom is given two meals a day. They provide buses for the residents. They have been helping my mom go to breakfast. They also come in and make sure she takes her protein shake. They offer her snacks. They have a full-time activity director. If somebody doesn't engage, they go out and they try to get them engaged and make them comfortable.

Westchester Senior Living is my first choice. The people there are incredible. The rooms are nice. They also have assisted living so if you need to move into the next level, they have it all there, which is really nice because not all places have that. This is a major positive for them. They put out newsletter with birthday greetings, recognitions, announcements for different plays and different parties. They also put out information for volunteer work and various activities like fitness program, etc.

My wife is residing at this facility at this time. They are extremely caring and concerned for the well being of their residents. If there is ever a problem, small or large, they call me to keep me informed. The facility is very clean and pleasant.

This a nice building with 24 assisted living apartments.All are on ground floor with outside entrances. All are one bedroom with full kitchens and private patios. They do have a nice courtyard with walking trails and an outside area patio and bbq. They have a pool. This a gated community. They offer three meals a day and snacks in their formal dining room. Residents order from a menu which offers daily specials and alternates. The food is good. They do housekeeping and linen service. Personal laundy is done at their laundry room but laundry assistance is available. They have a small library in the dining room. They have a beauty salon and activities room. There is a nurse on duty 5 days a week and on call. Doctoes di come in and they offer transport to appointments. Hospice services are available. They have certified caregivers per resident needs.They staff seems caring. They have lots of in house activities as bingo parties, socials, bbqs, exercise program and outside entertainment. They go on outings to shopping and other events. What they want for the week is decided by the resident council. This a nice facility.
