The staff is always happy to assist the residents and the apartments are well appointed. The activities are excellent and there is a sense of community and frienship

Verena at Gilbert was just independent living, and it's very new and clean, and organized. The staff members were very, very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. You order the food from a menu and there's a chef, so the meals are professionally done. In terms of facilities and amenities, they have about everything you can think of. There's a pool with a ramp, they have different sitting areas, and they have their regular mail room like the other places. The gym I go to is just a mile and a half away from there, the auto service is just down the street, the nursing hospital is right next to it, and there's a big shopping center close by.

It’s a comforting, place to live. Staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help The apartments are very nice. Upkeep is good. There are so many things to do. We go to concerts, plays. Outings To restaurants, baseball games. We have crafts, card games and lot more.. just a wonderful place to live, residents are very friendly too.

Verena at Gilbert is relatively new. Our rooms have never been lived in because the company that had this facility originally sold it to this new company. So everything is very new and nice-looking, and everybody's very nice. The staff is very good, everybody's been very friendly and I couldn't ask for more. There's an exercise room, a movie theater, a library, a barber shop or beauty shop, a swimming pool, and a salon kinda like a spa thing. The dining area is very good and the food is also very good.

Living here for almost a year, I have seen changes that are happening into a more positive way. Food is improving, lunches are filling and enjoy breakfast. Meeting residents and playing cards or board games makes this a layer back place to feel like home. My family is impressed with the decor and the other amenities that are offered.

This community is newer and well kept but, VERY BORING. They have continued to over promise and under deliver. The transportation provided is limited or none at all, group activities are sporadic at best and the staff turnover continues to surge. The food offering of a continental breakfast and semi-hot lunch is bland, boring and repetitive. Upper Management continues to promise more activities, more transportation and better quality food but nothing ever happens. Do not let the pretty hallways skew your vision of unhappy residents who are very bored and leaving as soon as possible. Look elsewhere for a fun place to put mom/dad- activities are what they need in the golden years.
