We toured Acoya Mesa for my parents. It was the best. It looked like you were living at the Hilton. They had all sorts of amenities to offer. It was just beyond words. It was amazing. I never thought a place like that existed. The staff was wonderful. It's reassuring to know that it is available if we need it. The best thing I can say is I was ready to change my name to my mom's name so I could slip in and live there. Their dining area was restaurant-style. It was very nicely done. The waiting staff was nice. The food, I wouldn't say five-star quality, but probably better than most places.

My second choice would have been Acoya Mesa. We toured the facility and it was just beautiful. They have a lot of activities going on. It's just a big facility and they have in their dining room, an actual cook. It was nice but we just couldn't afford it. My dad went with us during the tour, and the staff who assisted us talked to my dad and they were just nice. It was just the cost of the place. I ate dinner there and it was very good. And my dad too, and he ate all his food, and they just have a wide selection. I was impressed. the cleanliness of the facility was really good.

We got my dad at Acoya Mesa here in Arizona. He's in assisted living. It's new, very good-looking, bright and not dark. The staff is very good and very personable. I've tried the food once, and it's good. He enjoys it too. He's participated in several activities, and they're all very good. There's a little beer and wine social, and I've taken him to exercise activities. They have amenities like meeting rooms, an exercise room, a movie room, a big open lobby downstairs with another bistro area, and a library area. The whole place is very nice. I'd say the value is good. There are some places that are cheaper, but then they don't look as good as this one. You pay for what you get.

Acoya Mesa has bigger rooms, sunny rooms, balconies, and a nicer lobby. They have a beautiful dining area with an extensive menu, upscale amenities, and very nice people. They offered us a meal and let us pick from a seven or eight page menu anything we wanted. The staff was very good and residents came up and introduced themselves, and hoped that we were moving in, and so on.
