I live in Pine Valley in one of the patio homes, with a kitchen, a bath and a half, and 2 bedrooms. Every day we have activities, and I like the arts and crafts. They provide transportation to anywhere you want. The staff was very helpful. They have a beauty salon, they have nurses available to help with medication, and the maintenance was excellent.

My Mother has been at Pine Valley Independent Living for almost 2 months. Being a RN, I am quite picky. I have not found anything negative with Pine Valley. My Mother is so happy and I know she is receiving excellent care which is a peace of mind. So, thank you Pine Valley for the excellent care you provide to those that have come to a place in life where changes need to be made. Peace is worth more than anything to me when it comes to those we love. Blessings to all of you, Joy Willett.

My mother was at Pine Valley Retirement Community for a while. They have really nice apartments and everything, but they will only assist you if you can't do it on your own, so you don't look for a place like this if you can pretty much can handle it on your own. It is supposed to be assisted living because if you go the next level up, that is not very good. If you get to the point where you need a more nurturing life, for example, with your medications and that kind of thing, they don't handle that and you just go down to the other part of the facility, which is very depressing. My aunt was there for quite a while and they decided she needed more help so they had people come in for medication and help her bathe, so the family decided that she needed to move down into the other part. The food was very good from the time my mother was there throughout the time my aunt was there.
