Mount Royal was excellent and gorgeous, but I could not afford it with my budget. The tour was good, though. The services and the staff were great.

The room at Mount Royal Towers was small but had a beautiful view. The kitchen area had a dorm refrigerator and a microwave top. It was an impressive tall building, but I was disappointed with their small dining room. On the main floor, there was a bank, a pharmacy, and a beauty salon. The place was clean, but the room's carpet was horrible because someone had just moved out, and they hadn’t cleaned it yet. The food we had during the visit was OK, but we only had two choices for lunch, and they were snack food.

The rooms at Birmingham Senior Housing & Healthcare were nice. They had 4 different sizes; they had a studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom. The food was good, and they also had a pharmacy, a regular store, and a place where my mom could shop. She could do things right within the facility without having to go out although they had buses to take them to appointments. There is a doctor there, too. They have a small room for classes like yoga and rooms for her hobbies. They have a lot of classes and crafts. They have movies, cards, and a lot of entertainment. It’s near the hospital and her doctors.
