My mother was a resident of this facility for 18 months. There were many issues of concern including inaccurate billing, loss of submitted documents, improper staff behavior, and unavailability of salon services. An unfortunate event two weeks prior to my mother's death led us to report it to both the state authorities and the parent company, Phoenix Senior Living. Phoenix never acknowledged our concerns or my mother's death. We were notified that there will be an investigation conducted by the state. My recommendation would be NOT to consider The Neighborhood or any Phoenix facility for senior care.

I thought it was small but very nice. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. The rooms were very nice. They had a game room, an eating area, and a piano. I would recommend them to others because I thought they were more family oriented and smaller, so you would probably know more people there.

I went here and I liked it. I liked the rooms, but I thought that the other community would be better for my dad. It's closer to golf. I just didn't feel they had the energy that my dad has.
