We went to Riverside. The visit was very good. We met with the marketing person, and then the owners came in and walked around with us. We really felt like we got an excellent tour there. The facility was beautiful. It's an older building, but it is very well maintained, very clean, and well lit. It is a multilevel facility, so it is probably not going to meet our needs, but I would like to live there. There were so many activities going on. I'm glad we went, and I wish we had seen this place ten years earlier for my mom. I think it would have been a better fit for her then just because of all the activities they had going on and just the whole atmosphere of that facility. The residents were excited about going on their first outing. They were talking about things they had done and were looking forward to doing them again. They had a little more resident interaction there. The staff was phenomenal, too. The building is older and historic, but it has been maintained, updated, and upgraded. It has multiple floors, so there is a section you have to access via an elevator, and then there are some steps, so for our purposes that would not be good.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious. I enjoyed Sunday lunch the food is great and there are always having fun activities to participate in.

My mother moved into Riverside Senior Living. The room is very nice, and the facility is facing the river. It’s a nice place. Everybody is nice. I would recommend it.
