I put considerable time and resources into getting my sister admitted here and was then told they wouldn't accept her. They refuse to give me any reasons, which I need to find an alternative facility. They have a right to reject her but I feel they have a responsibility to give the reasons why. This shows a lack of common courtesy and compassion.

Everything was very well maintained and clean, however some employee's were mean to the patients. Patients did however seem to be taken care of pretty well. The patients always seemed to have activities to do to keep them entertained. In my opinion, I think this really helped the patients that never had any visitors. My grandfather was a patient at Madison Manor before he passed. He seemed relatively happy to be there, and never really had any complaints. He suffered from alheizmers, and they did a good job keeping him sane. I hate to give this place a low rating because of a couple of mean CNA's, but they are the most important part of the system. For example, there was an elderly man once who fell out of his wheel chair and no one rushed to help him up. They also snickered amongst themselves. Overall I would say the experience with Madison Manor was satisfying. There are a lot of people there that really care about the patients, and give them their best. I would recommend this nursing home for an elderly sick person.

Form the first time I saw this nursing home I knew it would be a great place for my grandmother who was diagnosed with alzheimer's.The staff was very friendly upon my arrival and treated me and my grandmother with great respect. The staff was very nice and kind as they gave us a tour around the nursing home and answered any questions we had. They serve meals 3 times a day and have game night and indoor and outdoor activities. The patients there get t.v. time and get to interact with each other.Since my grandmother loved the tour and how clean the place was she decided this was the place for her and she has been there 2 and a half years and has not had one single problem with the nursing home or the staff there.I visit her everyday and we talk about a lot of stuff including the staff and nursing home and how she loves it there. She says their meals are great and they have a a great outdoors and would love to continue staying there. This is a nursing home that if I have a problem when I'm older I would love to be put here.

My father-in-law resided at this nursing home until his death. The staff was so caring and professional. They treated him well, even though he could get rather cranky at times! The evening he died a peaceful death, his nurse was tearful and apologetic that she couldn't "do anything to save him". He was 95 years old and had lived a good life, the last of which he was attended to by a loving, caring staff.
