We went to Country Cottage. The tour was very good. They were well prepared, and they had all their information ready. They are very professional, and they gladly shared very openly and honestly what their community provides and all the perks of their community. It was a very good visit. The building was very well kept, very clean, and very neat. They had done some recent updates, and they were in the process of some more of their rooms and their facilities. The grounds were pretty, very well kept, and very clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff that we spoke with was very good and very knowledgeable.

Country Cottage - Decatur was beautiful, clean, and very well decorated. The people were extremely nice. They even fixed us lunch to show us what they serve the people there for lunch. The food was excellent. It's restaurant-style food. The rooms weren't quite as spacious as I thought they would be, but other than that, the place was superb. It is on the top of my list right now. Another thing I really liked about it is it's very easily accessible.

My mother loves Country Cottage - Decatur. It's beautiful. They have a beauty parlor, a nurse practitioner that comes by to see them, and all kinds of activities in the mornings and afternoons on and off-campus. They have a bus available and they take her to her doctors' appointment. They furnish three meals a day, and she has phone and cable TV. The staff is very courteous, very respectful, and they're truly interested in what she needs.

Country Cottage is very nice. We went there, but my mom didn't qualify for the assisted living program they have. I thought they were knowledgeable and very helpful. We talked to the people there and found out what their program was like. It seemed like very nice and very helpful, but they came out and evaluated her. Because of her mental capacity, they said she would not qualify. I'm not sure exactly what all of the programs were because we have difficulties with my mother participating in things.

My Grandmother lived at the Country Cottage for a short time before her health declined. She loved the other residents, staff, activities and the food there. Everyone was always extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Country Cottage to anyone looking for a great home-like environment for their loved ones.
