The Brennity at Fairhope was a good facility. They had nice people there and my mom was comfortable during the tour. I was comfortable with the setup and everything, and it's not far from where I live. I talked to a nice lady and then the gentleman that I sat down with at the end was also nice. He had a lot of good information and answered my questions well. They had three different apartments, and I liked the biggest one. From what I saw, everything looked good. Looked like it was pretty well taken of.

I like the people that work here at The Brennity at Fairhope. They're all very caring, helpful, and very personable. I like the community, it's a very nice place to live in. The meals are good. There are lots of activities. There's a courtyard and a salon. We have dining tables, and we sit four to a table. We have three meals a day. We have bingo three times a week, outings, and a bookmobile comes here too.

The Brennity at Fairhope was very warm and more up-to-date than other places. The staff was very friendly. It's very clean. The residents were engaging, and the staff interacted more. I went to several rooms and they were more spacious and there were more options as far as layout for assisted living. They have probably four or possibly five, but we narrowed it down to two. It was more like an apartment than just a room.
They had several different dining rooms throughout the facility. It looked like everything is prepared there onsite. They have a lot of community activities going on just about every day. They take the residents out or they have something going on inside. They were having the carpets cleaned the day I was there.

The facility appeared OK when I entered. There is a LOT of walking, which is tough for many seniors. I only saw one staff member while I was there. The door to the atrium only opens slightly. You'd have to be paper thin to get through. Apparently, the cement walkway has buckled and needs to be fixed, so the door to the atrium can open wide.
My visit to the resident couple at the facility was horrifying because this apt. is FILTHY. I can't imagine that any employee would allow all the junk, cardboard boxes, etc. inside this apt. This couple are hoarders!
Inside their apt. the a/c//heater unit is making a horrible noise. Not sure if it is providing heat. The lock on their door was not working. Took too many days for maintenance to come. I let the weekend desk employee know about this unit. To date, NOTHING has been done nor looked at. It's been over two weeks since my visit. Unacceptable.
I left the facility after dark. There were NO LIGHTS on outside the facility at all. Not from leaving the front door, nor going to the parking lot. Unacceptable and dangerous!!!
I feel this facility maintenance is not maintained. I would not recommend living at this facility.

I've been to The Brennity at Fairhope twice. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted, this one felt like home. I really wanted my father here. There was a resident sitting at the door, waiting to be picked up to go visit her husband. She bragged about the place. She bragged on the employees and on the food. She was happy there. They just felt home, and they were well pleased. The apartments were spacious, clean, and nice.
I got the opportunity to talk with several of the staff members there. They were all very friendly and seemed very, very caring and loving of the residents. They seemed to be very good at their job. They discussed the activities. I saw a group gathered for our Saturday morning Bible study. They were playing games after that in a room, and they were singing songs. One day I was there, someone was playing the piano and singing. I really was impressed.
The food was very good, so I got to try that. The dining area was very nice. The residents have a choice, and they had a chef.

The Brennity at Fairhope was very good. It was very clean, nicely decorated, smelled good, and all the people that worked there were friendly. The people who live there all seemed very happy. I had several people stop us to make sure we knew how much they loved it there. We ate lunch there and the food was very good. They took the residents to any kind of medical appointments that they have, and they take them on trips and to different shopping trips and outings in the area. They have a lot of activities during the day like bingo, and they watch movies, have tailgate parties for football, and so on. The only thing is that they have really long hallways. It's all on one level, which was nice, but it's a lot of walking for my mom, and it would be for someone older too.

I visited The Brennity at Fairhope, and it's a good, well-run facility. It's secure, the meals were good, and the staff was friendly. The grounds were clean, very easy to get to, and well kept up. It's a smaller facility, so it feels more like home.

I really liked The Brennity. It was really nice. The rooms were a little smaller but more reasonably priced. They had enough people who assisted the elderly people and seemed to be well staffed even on Sunday. I liked the location because most of my family lived in Fairhope.

I’ve visited some friends who are living at The Brennity. The place is certainly a good solution for them. The food I tried was good. The rooms are small by the standards of a home, but the facility seems well-run and provides the care that the residents need. They seem to have more than adequate staff, and they seem to be giving proper attention to the problems of the people who are there. They seem to have programs for anybody who wanted them.

I did visit The Brennity at Fairhope. The staff was very lovely. They’re very helpful. The rooms were very nice. They were much like what I needed. I didn’t need care 100% of the time, and I still wanted my independence to come and go. They had like a small apartment. They did have many good activities for the tenants. I’m in a wheelchair, and I noticed that they did have a lot that I can be involved in, and I appreciate that. They had games and some exercise classes that I can actually do in my chair. The dining room was lovely. It was roomy; it didn’t feel crowded. I haven’t been to a lot of different places, but I thought The Brennity at Fairhope would meet my needs and exceed some too.

My mother-in-law is at The Brennity at Fairhope Senior Living. So far it has been good, and she seems to be happy there. The marketing supervisor was very helpful, and everything has been very good. They do activities, and they have a bus. She talks about going on a sightseeing trip off Fairhope.

The Brennity at Fairhope was very nice, but it was just too far from me. It was about a 20 to 25 minute drive for me, but that would have been my second choice. The staff was all nice. They showed me a room that someone was living in so that I could see how the furniture fit in. The dining room was very nice. They had separated wings, and it was very nice that way. I liked that it was very clean, and everybody was very nice.

The Brennity was good. The lady that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable. The room that was available was at the back and down the hall. It was small, and my mother's stuff would not have fit in there. It was clean. The lady was very kind and very professional. She showed us anything we wanted to see, but there wasn’t much available there. We saw one or two rooms, and neither one would have worked for what mother's needs were.
