I have been taking care of a man for almost a year and he gets cellulitis! ND has to go to hospital. After hospital he is sent to sommerford rehab .he only stays 2 weeks and his bottom has 3 major sores!!!! Not to mention his belly where there is 4 open wounds,,,,all this done at sommerford

The rooms were very clean and Terry and Connie from housekeeping were very nice to me. My therapists were Kevin, Chad and Jacob and they were very good at their job and helped me to work on the different exercises that would help me when I went home. Tammy, Katie, Lisa, Denise, and Renae were so helpful, and everyone was very friendly and cordial. The residents enjoyed playing Bingo, going outside in the sun, and doing other activities. May God bless all your employees for everything they did for me. Thank you so much.

My mom is at the Summerford Health and Rehab, and she loves it there. The food is very balanced. She seems to be eating well, too, and that's good. I was very impressed that it's more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. They get to eat meat and green vegetables, and she enjoys it. The staff members we met were very compassionate and very caring. They're really good. It's an older facility, though, and they really need to do some updates.

Summerford is the place to receive excellent care for your loved one . The entire staff cares about their jobs and cares about the patients. Quality of care is rated # 1 at this facility . The only nursing home I have visited that is remarkable clean at all times . Check out Summerford.... you will be happy to have a loving staff for your family members.

My dad received the best care while there for rehab. The food was wonderful, the staff was caring. The daily physical, occupational and speech therapy helped my dad make a 100% recovery after his major brain bleed . We would highly recommend this facility .
The intake staff was extraordinary. They were kind and patient while helping me with all the forms as this was an overwhelming experience transferring my Dad from the hospital to rehab.
The room was spacious and kept spotless.
We enjoyed the beautiful flower gardens and left Petting zoo.

My poor mom gets soup for dinner every night. Staff in newer section is very unconcerned. Staff in older section was really caring.

My mother is in this nursing home. The staff are all great and show their care for each individual. When you talk to the patients they all seem to be very happy there. The meals are good and they will accomdate the patient with altnerative things to eat if they don't care for something inparticular.It is not as modern as some of the other facilities but the attention the patients recieve make up for conviences'. We have been pleased when a concern comes up they are quick to respond and rectify. 4 stars because the lack of modernized things.
