The Meadows of Atmore was very nice and we signed up to go there. We liked it so well. My wife and I could both move in there. It was pet friendly. It was within our budget. We met the cook, and there was a doctor in there that comes in once a week. They have a beauty shop and the lady comes in once a week. The manager was very nice and very friendly. I got a good impression when I talked to her. They've given us two rooms that are together. We can go from one room to the other without having to go out into the hall, so we liked that. It is unfurnished and you had to furnish your own, but that's no problem. All meals are furnished as beverages and even snacks. They had a room on both ends. On one end, you could sit and watch television if you wanted to. The other end was a game room where they had their activities, played bingo, and stuff like that. Also, they have a screened-in porch on both ends and you could go out there and sit. They had a nice outdoor that had flowers, bushes, and trees. We were just very impressed with the place.

The Meadows facilities were extremely well maintained. Everything there seemed to be in pristine working order. All of the staff members were friendly and very helpful. They also seemed to treat all of the residents in the assisted living facility with the up most care and respect. The lawns are always maintained to give the facility a professional look on the outside. The residents of the facility also seemed to be well pleased with the facility and its staff. Also, I think that it is very important for assisted living facilities to offer well balanced meals that are flavorful. I would have to give Them Meadows an "A" plus at their preparation of meals. Another thing that I believe is important to the overall health and well-being of senior citizens is keeping them active. The Meadows does of a great job of keeping the senior citizens there active by always planning different events for them to attend. These things would include: dancing, karaoke, bingo, and etc. Overall I believe that The Meadows is a great facility.

I would like to commend Sarah and her staff for the caring and loving manor in which they provide a place for the elderly to live in dignity.
