This building has been remolded and if you are there for therapy you get to stay in the newer area, but if not, you have to live in the dingy classic nursing home area. It is run down and you can tell the building is very old. The staff complain all the time there isnt enough of them to get their work done. There are a some long time, dedicated staff, but the nursing staff has an extremely high turn over. They always seem to be in a hurry and bothered if you ask for something extra. The activities are okay, and they have music therapy which seems to be a bright spot for so many people. The cost is very expensive and despite being non-profit, and giving a lot of charity, of have heard lots of sad stories regarding the costs. I would like to hear stories that match their advertisements and claims.

Sunshine Terrace is very wonderful at working with us, and they help us in any way that they would although they seemed to be a little more sedentary. They brought her meals to her -- the food was OK -- and mom loved it. The people were very caring and loving, and it was wonderful.

The staff seem to care about the residents of this facility. The facility is well staffed and the workers seem to enjoy assisting and spending time with the residents at Sunshine Terrace. The residents seem generally happy and satisfied with their care. The food seems to be well planned and well prepared. I am impressed with the rooms at sunshine terrace. They provide for the basic needs of the residents. Sunshine terrace is kept clean and family and friends are made comfortable when visiting this establishment. The landscaping is kept up and is always in good shape. They provide medical care and shopping services for the residents. They also are good about giving medication reminders for the more forgetful residents. It is comparable in price to other similar types of providers. They offer a pay as you go plan. They also do housekeeping for the residents to assist keep the rooms in good and clean shape.

I was very impressed with the staff at sunshine terrace. There were very friendly both to patients and visitors and they were very knowledgeable when it came to their patients and their ailments. The nurses that worked with both of my grandparents were very patient and always had a smile on their faces even if you could tell it had been a stressful day or that grandma or grandpa was cooperating very well. Their facilities were always very clean and calm place. Whenever it came to letting my parents know what exactly was going on with my grandparents the nurses and doctors were upfront and let us know exactly what we needed to know with beating around the bush. While it was hard to see both of my grandparents in a nursing facility and to see them in the state they were in the staff at sunshine terrace made it a lot easier on my grandparents and my family.

I have visited this facility on multiple occasions and have been completely impressed with how well the facility is run. To start off, I mostly visit to perform music with my wife. We have performed in many concerts there, and have been impressed with the amenities available to the residents for such performances. As a part of the staff is a full-time music therapist (with at least one intern to help her out). Residents are provided not only with one-on-one sessions with the music therapists, but also group programs that occur at least once a day. There is also a full-time recreation therapist and two part-time recreation therapists. With the combination of all of these wonderful staff, the residents are provided with many wonderful opportunities to socialize and learn together. From what I understand, the facility has a waiting list for residents to be permitted and is well known around Logan. This alone shows how well the facility is maintained by its staff. The rest of the staff that I have met have always been helpful and friendly to me, but even more importantly to the residents they serve.

I had a wonderful experience with this provider. The facilities are top of the line. It is very clean and inviting. The staff is wonderful. They are very helpful and overall seem to have a very good attitude. They have a wonderful rehabilitation gymn with an underwater treadmill. The facility is fully Staffed all the way from doctors down to CNA's. It is set in a wonderful location where seniors can go out and feel safe. It is near enough to the center of the town that residents can get anywhere that they need. From the top down the staff cares about providing quality and i would highly recommend this facility

Sunshine Terrance is an older facility and it shows. It is known as being the worst ruin down facility in town. But it is known as being a great deal. The tile is old and looks like it needed to be rewaxed and it had been awhile. With the cheap lighting hallways seemed lit dimly. It doesn't feel like a home but a nursing home. The staff met their job standards but did not exceed they were friendly but not welcoming. Those long term patients there were happy to be there and many had special jobs to help them feel needed. One patient there helped at the front desk answering phone calls; to make her feel needed and loved they even had a name tag made and a desk name block for her. She proudly put on her name tag and name block and started assisting the front secretary in taking calls.
