AdamsPlace was a great place. It's just very expensive for what we can afford. It's very nice and very high-end. They have a lot of activities. They take care of everything. They go everywhere from rehab to full stay there. It's very professionally run, they kept you informed, and it's top-notch. My father was there for rehab and they did a great job with him. It was like a resort. The staff was very professional and very caring. The food was great. They had areas they could go to and walk to and have things to do. They take you off campus if they had trips scheduled. It's a pretty large complex. It's not cheap, but it's worth whatever it is you're paying. They got my father back to normal health quickly. They didn't let him go too early. They didn't let him go too late. They did a good job.

My friend chose to stay at AdamsPlace. So far, it has been very good. I think it remains to be seen when she fully moves over into an assisted living apartment, but so far, she's been very happy with the care that she's received there. The interaction that I've had with the staff has been very favorable. I did meet a nurse over there when I went into the rehab center. The rooms are very well done and very well kept, from what I can tell. They have a library there. They had her on a restricted diet because she's diabetic. She seems to be very happy there. She is very peculiar and very picky about things. I think if she's happy, then that's a good step.

My wife did some rehab at Adams Place and the staff was just fantastic,as well as the food. Everything about the place was top of the line. They were caring people, well-trained, friendly, and they did all they could to take care of her. It was very clean, very nice, and more down-home.

covid staff

My mother entered this facility covid free for rehab. They tested her for covid regularly. The family was not allowed to visit. While at Adams place she contracted covid from several nurses who tested positive. Adams Place insisted that she could leave the facility, but as long as she was positive, her long term care provider could not accept her. Adams Place was not honest with us about her condition, transported her to St. Thomas Rutherford where she died of covid. Do not send your love ones to Adams Place.

Most of the nurses are burnt out & just do not care. Techs are overworked & overwhelmed. Residents have long waits for even minor care needs. We are looking for another facility.

My mother-in-law is currently at Adams Place for rehab. It's relatively new, it's in very good shape, and it appears to be very well staffed. The food seems to be good. They seem to be very good both in the physical therapy OT side and the nursing side.
