Do NOT put your loved one here. Apparently this place has severely declined in the last few years. There is NO plan for care, no communications with family, NO ONE will return calls. Medicine changes are made with no notification to family. Mom sat in soiled briefs for hours. Need more help. Staff all overworked. And supposed to be. Christian non-for-profit. Where is all that money going? Paying high priced administrators and building new fancy independent living. Nursing home is terrible.

Heritage was the worst place I visited. The rooms were dark, small, and there weren't any caregivers on the floor when we visited. It was two-stories, and they wanted to put my mom upstairs, but there was no way she would have been able to get downstairs.

I am experienced most all the levels of services they offer. My mom has been a resident there for many years and it is the best decision we have ever made. The Adminiatration is very kind and visable and always available. The staff can't do enough for you

While I was a caregiver for my mother-in-law, her declining heath required a short-term stay at the Lowman Home. As a part of the family, I expected the highest quality treatment of her by the staff. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the landscape, which included walking areas, a pond, and comfortable benches. The interior of the facility was also quite inviting and had a home-style feel. Not only does the facility offer traditional caretaking, but they also offer plenty of recreational activities designed to improve physical and mental well-being. The patient rooms were nice as well, each with a large window for viewing the landscape. In addition, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Upon each visit, there was always a nurse or other staff member within visible distance. In summary, I was impressed with the facility as well as the care received. I would recommend the Lowman Home for both long-term and short-term stays.

About 10 years ago I had to put my father into an assisted living center. He quickly went from assisted living to a nursing home and passed away quickly. So, when a friend asked me to stop in and see her elderly mother when she moved into an assisted living facility, I was reluctant, but went anyway. Much to my suprise I saw men and women who were pretty active. When I arrived they were all doing the hokey pokey! This wasn't anything like what went on where my father was years ago. Before I knew what happened, I was doing the hokey pokey too. After asking many questions I found out that they employ somebody to have fun activities for the residents. They go to the grocery store, and the mall, and to doctor appointments. It's all very well orchastrated. I was VERY impressed.
