My father-in-law was discharged from Wesley Commons Health and Rehabilitation Center. He went to their rehabilitation hospital. Wesley Commons is a huge complex. They have assisted living through nursing home care and a rehab hospital. It's a complete senior living facility. Everything involved with that rehab hospital was first class. It was laid out properly for the patients that were there. No tight corners. No steps. It's all one floor, very user-friendly for wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. It's very well kept. The lawn was very well taken care of and professionally decorated. The inside of the building was exceptionally clean and all the residents that were there seemed to be especially happy. The staff did a wonderful job. Their nurse practitioner was there daily and there were multiple nurses and CNAs on staff. He was there for physical therapy, but he had COVID and so he was restricted to his room for the time he was there. They had a very nice gym for the residents for physical therapy, but he recently had COVID and wasn't vaccinated, so he was not able to use that. He seemed very happy with the food. When we were there, his meals were brought in, and they were very appealing visually, the quantity was fine, and the variety seemed to be very well. I did not hear him complain about anything from a diet standpoint. Even though he was on a special diet, he was very happy with the food. He has insurance and Medicare, but it was still expensive.

My mom is at Wesley Commons. It is closer to her home. The staff members are great. Right now, she is in a pretty good place on the rehab side, but she is going to be moving into the independent living in a few days. Everything has been good so far. They have bridge and movies. They have a library where they can read the newspaper. My mom doesn't really use the computer, but that's available to some of the residents. The food is pretty good; she hasn't complained. Wesley Commons is expensive.
