the room I was in was acceptable
interactions with staff were varied and could be horrific, ie: erroneous denial of medication ... hostile bellowing behavior of nurse to patient over patient's hospital bed
in regard to amenities; food served was cold every meal each day of my 18 day stay.
summing this all up: manorcare health services in allentown, PA in my experience is a stressful place that is not conducive to comfort or healing

My father-in-law was at ManorCare Health Services-Allentown for rehab. The staff was pretty good. The only problem was they didn't change him as much as his daughter would want him to. There were two beds in the room for him and another patient, and it only had a bed, a TV, and a closet to put his clothes in. He was taken care of pretty good. They had activities, but he didn't get involved. They didn't have enough parking for the people that visit.

I am in Manorcare right now. The staff is pretty good. They are very caring and patient. The room is clean, but there are two other people in it, and it has air conditioning and central heating. The food is good.
