I am giving this review because a brand new expensive pair of shoes went missing while I was there. and never replaced as was promised
Also while most of the staff was great, the last CNA I had was aggressive and pushy. on the other most nursing staff and physical therapy (John) and occupational therapy (Lisa) were great.

My mother has lived at marquis for over a year. We have been very happy with her care. On Fri 5/2/2020 we received a call that she “is now actively passing” (not what we are ready for) Due to the Coronaviris only 2 people can go in to be with her. (She has 3 children) So... How-do you choose 2? Hmmmm.. Well we did. The rest of the family stood outside he window, the pouring down rain, the cold, the dark. Tears....smiles...hugs...more tears. The staff talking to us through the window each and every time the came in the room. We seen the pain in their eyes as we looked at them through our tears. The pain of them losing their resident that they have grown to love the pain of them having to watch us outside in the cold not being able to hold her and say our proper goodbyes. They apologized so many times. Offered us coffee and water. Then there was Larry, oh Larry how mom loved Larry. She would talk about him all the time. I am so so blessed that Larry was there at the end. I’m in healthcare and Larry knows this. So dear Larry explained step by step to the 2 that were inside while I explained step by step to our family on the outside. I and my family cannot express how thankful we are for the most amazing care and love that marquis piedmont gave to our mom from the beginning to her peaceful end of her life. We love every one at the facility.

Marquis Piedmont Post Acute Rehab is institutionally rundown in my opinion. They also have an assisted living in another wing there in the premises, but it was just dismal. My mother-in-law recovered there in the post-acute rehab in the nursing facility. It was excellent except that she had to share a room with a woman and it was miserable. It was too hot because of the equipment that the other woman needed in the room. It was noisy and it didn't really allow for very restful rehabilitation in that regard, but the staff was good and the rehab was excellent. She recovered from a broken hip at the age of 87, and I owe it to them. They did pretty good with the food. The facility just needs an update in a big way.

I was recently a resident at Marquis Piedmont recovering from a broken hip. My experience was excellent. The staff, from proffesionals to housekeeping, was friendly and caring. The food was unexpectadly good. I would recommend
, without reservattion, Marqis Piedmont, to anyone requiring compassionate and proffesional care in their recovery.

Marquis Care is in the neighborhood and it is close to main streets. The facility is clean. My brother resides there. The staff is very cooperative, engaging and helpful. The rooms are clean. The dining area is set up so that there are tables to accommodate groups of four. There is a large door that opens up to the patio area. It is clean. The kitchen facility seems to be nearby, so it is sufficient. It is not troubled by garbage, so the housekeeping is good. They seem to have card games, bingo, gatherings and outings where they can leave the facility on bus.
