My loved stayed at New Albany Gardens. The place looks okay, but don't be fooled. We had to beg the nurse to call the paramedics. The nurse proceeded to apologize to the paramedics stating that it was not an emergency call. As it turned out, they overdosed our loved one and the ER had to give our loved one NARCAN. The nurse that night happened to be the "nurse of the month". The next instance occurred when we told the nurse manager that we thought our loved one had a UTI. The nurse manager dismissed it and a day or so later we had to beg the nurse to call the paramedics again when our loved one was unresponsive. As it turned out, our loved one turned septic due to a UTI that should have been treated. The nurse in the hospital ICU also told us that the ER had to give our loved one NARCAN again. After going through septic shock our loved survived, but was never the same again suffering from permanent damage. Nurse Patty is not nice.

My mom-in-law is at New Albany Gardens and Care Center just last February. It's an excellent facility and very clean. The people take great care of her and she likes everyone there. They keep us informed on what's going on. She also likes the food. She said she had extra smaller portions because the food was too much for her, but she said the food was very good. She had a private room with a little bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet, and a little sitting area with couch and TV. She doesn’t feel like the facility is an institution. She likes all the activities and the outings. She played bingo. She is in a knitting club and a cooking class. They bring in entertainment and she enjoyed the piano playing and the singers. They also have a movie night.
