Rehab was severely understaffed, far below what the state requires. I threatened to call the state to audit their payroll records because they were far under the 1:15 ratio state requirements. I was treated much better after that. I was put in diapers (not because I am incontinent but because my call light was not answered for over 2 hours.) It was humiliating being there, I was bullied and treated rudely. Aids told me to walk to the bathroom even though my walker was inaccessible and I was a fall risk. I was later told by a nurse and the physical therapist that it was not the aids call. Some of the the aids, would bully me, saying "did I think that I really deserved help to the bathroom when had so many patients?" I think that we all deserve adequate care. We are all paying for it.

My mother had a very bad experience at the Weils . Many of her requests were ignored, the management staff has poor communication skills and even less compassion.
