My dad was in The Village at Northrise for five days and got severely dehydrated. I'm not sure what happened, but from there he went to the hospital and then from the hospital to the hospice. The living atmosphere and layout of the place was adequate. They were very conscious of the COVID restrictions, which was good on one side, but if you're not double-vaccinated, you cannot visit your parents. There wasn't anything that we liked about the place. I don't think they took care of him. He got dehydrated so that means they weren't giving him fluids. I would say that the staff didn't do their job. He was in rehab and was doing very well, he's moving and ready to take the next step to be living closer to his home before he went there. The front entrance was not very clean. The room that we toured for the assisted living part hadn't been repainted and updated. The stove was very, very old and then the place he ended up going to was a shared room. It was clean, but there wasn't much there. It was shared with another guy so there wasn't much to that room. It was extremely expensive and we got nothing for it.
