The Villas was very homey and clean. It's an older facility, but they keep it up well. They were caring, patient, and it felt right. They offer everything you could possibly need, food, and clean clothes every day. My sister said the food is good, and she doesn't have to clean up. They take the residents places if they need to go, and a doctor comes every week. They have a nice Christmas program. I went to church with my sister, and we enjoyed it. We're happy with the place.

My mother lives there and has for the last 5 years or so. She moved into the RCF part and really did well for a couple of years. The staff kept her busy and she made slit of friends and moved in already knowing a few people which made it easier. Her health started to decline and she had to go into the nursing home part. I was scared at first what this might do to her but she did fine and is very happy with being there. The staff and her friends from the RCF have never stopped visiting her and at times she goes to the RCF for visits. They do a great job of keeping me informed of any changes or concerns with my mom and they act very quickly if I or my mom has a concern. I have seen lots of changes to the building while my mom has been there from remodeling the building, the outside getting painted, a new room on most of it, new furniture and most recently a new place to do therapy and new rooms for people to come in and stay after an illness or injury. The thing that makes me the most happiest is that mom is happy, the staff are very attentive and loving to all the people that the care for. Every place has issues that pop up just like in our our home but they r quick to fix things. I would recommend this home to anyone.

My grandma lived at The Villas up until her death last year. I visited her as often as I could and felt bad that I couldn't see her more, but that's life, I suppose. Anyway, the facility itself is small and old and dark, even in the middle of summer. It seemed like the air conditioning was almost always broken and it was suffocating to be in that place. The food that was served was okay at best and burned at worst. The hallways and common areas were clean enough and the rooms were spacious enough. There's a great courtyard available for residents to go smoke or sit with their families and such. During my visits, they were understaffed quite a few times and I felt like my grandmother wasn't getting the level of care she needed. It's almost like they thought I'd deal with it since I was visiting and everything.
