The staff at Meadow Lakes was cordial, very polite, and very informative. The facility was nice. The rooms were a little small, but there's enough room for two people. The grounds were well-groomed. They had sitting areas and different things outside. It was nice and there were a couple of people in the activities room when we were there. The facility was really clean. There were no foul smells. It looked like it was well-maintained and everything was in order. I just liked the appearance when I walked in.

My step-dad just got out of Meadow Lakes. It seemed fine but we couldn't see anything because of COVID, they would bring him out and we could see him in the lobby. He likes it there which is rare. Staff was really nice and he liked them too. The facility was very nice, I think it's expensive. They have transportation to doctors' appointments and things, they have game nights, they take people shopping if they can go. They also have retirement homes and condos.

My friend was in Meadow Lakes for rehab. Overall, it was pretty good, but due to COVID I think they were short-staffed. But it was OK. It was fine. The appearance of the place was excellent. I couldn't go inside so I had to sit outside on a bench and talk to her through the window. I would suggest they hire more qualified people. It's newer, it's well cared for, the grounds were also well cared for.

Mom is in Meadow Lakes right now. It’s about 16 or 17 miles away. She’s in a room, and there’s another lady in there, too. I’d say the room is fine. It seems like a very nice place.

Mom's room at Meadow Lakes was small, like a hospital room, with two beds in a room. It's OK and very nice, and in terms of appearance, I would rate it a 5. However, it lacked other things. She was limited on her diet and felt like she didn't have as much freedom as she would like. She said she felt like she was in prison because she was told what to do, how to do it, and when to do things. She was served three meals a day, but they ground up her meat and it was tasteless, so she did not enjoy that either.

My husband is at Meadow Lakes. It’s a very caring place and treats him like family. They’re understaffed, as everywhere is, but they still get the job done and care for the individuals. The rooms are fine and cleaned on a daily basis. I’ve never seen a mess that wasn’t cleaned up immediately. They take very good care of the facility and offer all kinds of activities, like bingo and arts and crafts. They have a large TV and computers available, plus once a week, they have field trip outings.

My parents have been residents in the assisted living part for over 3 years. My dad started in the rehab area. They keep everything in great shape and care for the residents very well. I am out of state but my brother and sister-in-law are there several times a week. There is a comment on here about the food being mediocre at best. My experience is the food is of good quality and they have a great variety as well. I know most never write a review unless they have a complaint so thought I would side for 3 years of exceptional care that my parents have received so far. Note: My parents aren't the easiest for the staff either but still get respect and care.

My mother was released from the hospital with orders for rehabilitative care for a few weeks before going home. They made it to the hospital at around 9pm. Granted there would not be any office staff there at that time of night. However, they did were not prepared for her to come and it took my dad quite awhile to find someone who even remotely knew they were coming. While they were waiting, they witnesses housekeeping staff moving beds and cussing at each other. That sealed the deal for them. They turned right around and left the facility. She was totally turned off of the idea of rehab and is doing her therapy at home. We were highly disappointed in the whole experience.

My father was a patient from a fall and a hip replacement. The facility grounds were very nice and well kept. The interior was very nice, clean and decorated for the different seasons and holidays. They have several activities for the patients to participate in. They provided a schedule with the times and area they would be in.Most of the nursing staff was dependable and helpful. They were a bit slow to respond at times. The Physical Therapy department was not as considerate of the patients as I had expected. My father had to leave the facility to have dialysis, which was about six hours, Physical Therapy expected him to do theropy as soon as he returned with him being as fatiqued seemed a too much. The dietary department food selection and appeal was not the best and several times it was not hot by the time the patients received it. They was not much attention paid to food likes and dislikes.

Meadow Lakes is a higher end retirement home. They have a nursing home section for those who can not operate their daily lives without constant assistance and they have an assisted living section for those that can get by on their own. The facility is clean and of high quality. Both times I visited there was a man painting the corridors with fresh paint. The environment was sterile and smelled nice. The staff was friendly for the most part, I did notice some of the care takers speaking impatiently with some of the residents which I find to be unacceptable. We had lunch with my friends grandmother. The food was of mediocre quality, not a far cry from jail food. However it was served hot and had fruits, vegetables, and meat included.Over all I would rate this facility to be of fair quality. Most of the nursing homes seem to be corporate run and don't really care about the residents, just the money they are making from them.
