My sister-in-law has moved into Greenwood Meadows. I think it's clean and cheerful. The staff are friendly. It doesn't have a bad smell. It's pleasant with lots of windows and light coming in. They offer lots of activities, but my sister-in-law had a stroke, so she has no speech currently and doesn't participate. They do have a daily schedule like bingo, and someone coming in and playing music. They have activities every day, but she hasn't attended. They have church services, games, crafts, and quite a few things. The food is good, usually hot, and enjoyed by my sister-in-law. The dining room is clean, bright, and well decorated. There's a schedule hanging on the wall in her room where they have activities every day. She's on Medicare right now, and I know the cost for private pay is like average of every place else.

My dad has been moved into Greenwood Meadows because he fell at the other facility and broke his neck, so now, he is in skilled nursing. It's comparable to what else is available around here. He is in a semi-private room, so there are two people. He is bedridden, so I don't see him being in other parts of the buildings to know what those other things would be like. They were recommended by the hospice. They were one of the few places that had the requirements and had an opening that was located close to his family members for us all to be able to visit. I thought his food is fine, appearance-wise, but I didn't taste any of it to know if it is bland or not bland.

Our mother lived in three facilities over the 7 years that she dealt with Alzheimers. Greenwood meadows provided her with the comprehensive care she needed up to the very end of her life. More than any other facility they reached out to us, initiating phone calls to give updates and setting up care regular meetings. They had activities and staff caring for her 24/7. During her last days the entire staff showed intentional and involved care - many staff members came to her bedside to offer and give assistance to her AND to us. The love and support we felt cannot be understated. Thank you to the entire team!

My mother spent her last 5 weeks of life at Greenwood Meadows. The staff was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, dependable, and her room was kept clean. Administrative staff were responsive to our families requests. My mother was not eating so it is difficult to speak to the quality of food, however, the little I tried tasted more than fine. I doubt there are any perfect nursing homes in existence so it is important you stay involved with your loved ones care on a daily to weekly basis to ensure proper care. I would definitely recommend Greenwood Meadows long-term care facility to any one in need of these types of services.

I can't believe that this place is not getting five star reviews from everyone. We looked high and low at nursing homes for our mother. As soon as we toured Greenwood Meadows we were able to stop looking. I have never seen such an open and caring staff from the administrators to the clinical people to the kitchen and custodial people. Every one down here took to my mother as if she was THEIR own mother. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their excellent care and caring. Thank you again, Greenwood Meadows staff.

happy for my mom

I have dealt with numerous nursing homes during my father and husbands last days. So I was very watchful and leary when she was sent there. My mother was there 2 months for the rehab. The nurses were very good. The aides were the best I have ever seen. All of them treated my mother like a baby. Even when they were on different wings they came to check on her. Mom was always self-reliant/independent hating to rely on others. They managed to see past that to the person she really was. A GIANT THANK YOU TO NURSE KELSEY AND AIDES JOEY AND BUDDY. You kept her happy. the only complaint she had was not enough help in the dining room and food would get cold before she got it.. She likes very hot food.

My mother ended up staying in Greenwood Meadows for rehab. She liked it and was making friends. The facility itself was kind of cool in that it has a nursing station in the center and halls that come off of that. They have a rehab part, which is where she started, and then she transitioned from rehab to the skilled. As for activities, she was there for Christmas, and it was decorated beautifully, and they had Christmas activities for the residents and the family. Any issue I've had has been addressed and they have been very good about making changes to make it work. They have a nurse practitioner six days a week and physicians that come in and check on the residents. It is not perfect, but I don’t think there is any place that is perfect.

There are things my mom liked at Greenwood Meadows and there are things she disliked. She did not like the food. The staff was very nice but there seemed to be quite a bit of people needing help and not getting it very quickly. It has a hospital like environment and it was pretty much expensive too. I think I would recommend it for people looking for a nursing home.

The care that my grandfather has received here has been outstanding. He has been there sever times. Health issues included a fractured hip, stroke and heart attack. Each time the nursing and therapy staff have provided excellent care. I will recommend Greenwood Meadows as a top notch facility.

My father is currently in Greenwood Meadows. I like the location and cleanliness of it. For a nursing home, atmosphere is what could be expected. They have bingo, music, and they have pets that come in to see them periodically. The rooms are small, but they're really nice.

Greenwood Meadows is not a place you want to put your loved one. The staff is very rude, and will treat you and your loved one like you don't matter. Choose a different place for your loved one.

Greenwood Meadows is an awful facility. The staff is rude and takes minimum care, at best, of your loved one. They don't take them regularly to the restroom, offer liquids outside of meals, don't document falls or incidences. I would never, with a good conscious, recommend them to anyone. Too bad I had to even put 1 star!

This place is not a good place to put your loved ones. Christina, one of the nurses, is horrible. She put my Mother in a dark room all alone like she was NOTHING! The rest of the nursing staff I can take or leave. There might have been a couple of nurses that actually cared for my Mother while she was there. We have since moved her to another facility because this place does not know how to handle dementia/Alzheimer patients but yet they have a memory care unit. I wouldn't take my parent there. If there was a zero star, I would have put that!

i really liked this place for Mom. The night she was dying a nurse, Kaitlyn Woods, made sure we had privacy to say our goodbyes. Amy is great and Shannon! And Sharon the Social worker is top notch! I loved how big it was there! Mom thought she lived in an apartment! But I do Hate the Alzheimer's area! Too small!! Most staff is Great!
