My mom is in Luke Haven, the skilled nursing facility of Village on the Isle. Everything is one-on-one. You have your own bathroom, and you have your own room. She has been in lockdown since she arrived because of COVID. She's in lockdown for fourteen days, so she hasn't been to the gym or the dining room, but they bring her food three times a day. She's been very happy with it so far. They're still coming in, exercising, and doing rehab, but it's all done in her room or in the hall. Everybody has been very good to her so far. I have had no complaints from her, and they communicate very well with me. They were very helpful in getting her in, too. The location is very nice. The surrounding area is very peaceful and very nice.

My mom was at Village on the Isle for rehab. It was a different feel because she had to share a room. Nevertheless, the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond for us. We had some things we're dealing, but they helped us out. The food was not as good as where she is now. Activities were a little bit different because my mom was doing more physical therapy. It was a different atmosphere but good as well. The physical therapy seemed good. The cost was covered by insurance.

My Mother is a resident there in the independent living area. She did a trial run for a month at several other facilities until she came here. Immediately, it was obvious she was home. The staff does treat you like family. The other residents are welcoming and friendly. Mom told me just the other day... "I'm never lonely here." Lots of activities available. Of course alot of things to do in the area. Venice is beautiful! I'm very happy Mom chose a continuing care community as I know she'll always be taken care of. As a relative I'm sure you also want the confidence that your loved one is happy and being cared for as well.
