The Center at Park West Nursing Home in Pueblo was very modern. I think the communication with the staff to the families was good. They set my parents up for PT and OT when they were there. I think they have speech therapy also. They've got high expectations too. If you're going to stay in the rehab, they go into your room and say, "All right, let's sign you up for PT" and you turn them down 3 times, they are going to boot you out of there. Unless obviously, you're sick or this or that. They have a high expectations. It's their job to get you in rehab and move you to the next step (whatever the next step is).
My experience with them was very good. If you have any questions, you could get hold of the powers; they're very communicative.
They brought the food up to my parents' rooms, so they didn't go down for it. If you go in as a visitor, they give you a tag. You have to take your temperature, wear a mask, and things of that nature. They didn't have everybody in the dining room. They served them in their own rooms.
They had some issues with staffing at night during the time my parents were there. The activities are individual-based, and it's based on physical therapy and occupational therapy. There is none on the rehab site where my parents stayed.
