My friend is in Vasona Creek Healthcare Center. It's very clean and organized and he's getting very good care and he's very happy. His room is crowded, but maintenance and upkeep are excellent. The staff is very nice, very capable, very friendly, and caring. I've not seen a dining area, but he seems to enjoy the food and they cater to his taste.

I would never let my Aunt go back to that place! U can buzz the buzzer wait 45 minutes, no one shows up have to go to nurses station to get help, everytime i came my aunt just on the wheelchair no one comes by to help even to sit up to eat..they didnt help with her dentures until i brought to attention. Teeth was kept in drawer..some people would get lunch in time and others hust waiting for their cna to get bk from break..one time i found my aunt asllep on chair and cna sitting on her bed watching something on her phone...nice looking place but help n food sucked!

As you pull up the driveway you notice space. Most others are crammed right up to the street. Feels expansive. The fountain in the front. Old people outside that are visiting with family or getting a little exercise wheeling about. Family member staying there. The whole place is bustling with energy. You can feel the positively encouraging voices of the staff. People everywhere in various states of healing. Susan C. and Juana are on the spot, patiently giving great care. You can check out many other places but I doubt you will find better. Family member has been for 2 days and already significant improvement.

Vasona Creek was clean, and the rooms were OK. The staff members was just doing their jobs, and I guess they were friendly.

Vasona Creek is a rehabilitation, and it was referred by the hospital my husband was in. The staff was OK, but it depends also who takes care of the patient. One of the nursing assistant didn’t take good care of my husband, and I had to tell the manager that I don’t want her to take care of my husband. He was originally moved into a private room, and it was quite nice, I think they are remodeling the entire facility and I think the room she stayed in was already remodeled so it’s very nice with bathroom but they only have a shared living room. The dining area is kind of a hallway and they have under that area the people eat and its OK. I saw bingo games going on, movies, and arts and crafts. If you are in a private room that’s good, but if you are in a two people room, some rooms do not have their own TV and these patients cannot do too much and the TV is one thing they can enjoy.
