My family member was a previous patient at the skilled nursing side. The grounds and facilities are very nice especially compared to other facilities however the staff and service is a mixed bag. The receptionist, social activity managers and food staff are wonderful and accommodating. We had good CNAs and nurses who were kind and caring but clearly overworked and understaffed. Others were transactional and careless, including giving late and/or repeated medications on more than one occasion (including the Director of Nursing). When confronted with these concerns, leadership was combative and dismissive and threw their floor staff under the bus instead of being accountable for their role in creating a toxic working environment. I had a conversation with the Health Services Administrator who seemed genuinely concerned and willing to help but when I followed up with an email, I never received a response or plan of action. Think twice before sending a loved one here and don’t be fooled by the nice grounds. The inside is a different story.

The Terraces at Los Altos is very clean. It is a Medicare-qualified facility. My mom is currently there and the residents are very happy. They have different types of activities like music programs, social interaction, flower design, and arts. The food is also top-notch. The staff has been wonderful. They are one of the best. The care they provide is high level. They have a doctor that visits weekly and nurses on call that are always there. They are friendly people, too.

The Terraces at Los Altos was very nice, but twice as expensive as where my father-in-law is. He was in the rehab part of it, and our experience was very good. They seemed to be very attentive and there was always somebody there when I was there. They were always helping and giving him stuff to do. They're always watching what everybody is doing. They're pretty much right on top of it.
