My mother went to Grant Cuesta Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Center after the hospital. It's literally a rehab facility. The staff is wonderful, they're great people, and they seemed really interested in caring for the patients.

This is the perfect place for a person released from hospital yet not ready for Rehab. Majority of personnel are very helpful and friendly. The facility is very noisy, especially at night. Preference is given to hard of hearing fragile residents. Older building and small rooms contribute to this problem but allow this to be an affordable solution. Communication between intake personnel and caregivers is poor so it does take 2- 3 days for a new residents' needs to be learned. This is a teaching facility so there is an extra level of care-taking available. Nichlole and Wen earn 5 stars each for going the extra need.

FOUR HOURS AND WAITING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO BE CLEANED UP IN A WET AND DIRTY BED!

Very noisy facility-patients scream a lot and roam hallways being ignored by staff. Lots of staff speak Spanish with in patient areas-not all patients speak or understand Spanish. Lots of cell phone usage by staff-unprofessional

The staff members of Grant Cuesta were friendly. They would encourage people to go out to various programs and various centers, and they had evening programs like Bingo. The rooms were not spacious, and there were two people in the room, so I did not expect lots of space. It was a secure place.
