I was a patient at Country Villa South for a month. It was a horrible experience. The only thing that is good and deserves 5 stars is it's therapy dept. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Service to patients is horrible. Food is worse.

Country Villa was very clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very pleasant, very friendly and very forthcoming about what was going on. They allowed me to walk through the facility. I visited it three times and every time I visited, I found everything to be exactly the same. I really thought the OT department was very well staffed and they had good equipment there. I spoke with the administrators and nine workers. I looked on the rooms of any patients they had that were willing and found everything to be the same. The only thing that they didn't have that I really wished they had was wanderer's safety precautions. They didn't have a protocol for that. They would allow you to have a sitter but they didn't actually have a door where if somebody opens it, it buzzes or like a bracelet that would go off or would set an alarm to the staff that this person is trying to leave this facility. Other than that, it definitely is a facility that I would be completely and totally interested in.
