Family of Former Rehab Inpatient.
Please know that if not for all your hard work & love for my husband, he would not have gotten well enough to enjoy the last three weeks of his life close to his family. We are eternally grateful to you for this gift. My husband spoke well of all of you and of his time at Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Home.

My dad was diagnosed with dementia and was housed in the nursing home part of Samaritan.
I was soooo happy to have him there!! It being a Christian place and all!!
~pffffft~ It ended up being a complete nightmare.
If there was a number below “1”.....that’s where I would have rated the administration of Samaritan. Especially relating to dementia patients.
Some of the nurses were absolutely the greatest!! Very caring and compassionate. In my opinion...some workers... were obviously there just for the check. The kitchen workers appeared to be hard workers. In my opinion...and speaking for myself...the administration was an absolute nightmare... especially when it came to decisions they were making for my dad with dementia. It was heartbreaking.
Also....during COVID...I couldn’t go into see my dad. Understandable. Protect the residents. BUT...couldn’t they at least have taken the screen off the window that I had to stand at...to visit with him? It was hard enough not being able to hug my dad...but...it was even harder to have to try to see him through a window with a screen on it.
