Aria at Mitchell Manor only had a few rooms. The memory care was too small and there was no area for walking. It also needs updating. It was clean, but it was really old looking. The staff member I met was very pleasant. She understood when I said the place was too small for my husband.

Aria at Mitchell Manor was OK. The accommodations were a little bit small. The campus was kind of patched together. The buildings were added in a piecemeal manner. The staff was very friendly. They also have assisted living there. The residents were very friendly, and the staff was very good, too.
They had activity rooms. They had groups that they put together for the residents. There was a chapel. They had other activities. They had a movie room that was kind of a lounge area, where they could watch TV together. There were actually several locations like that through the facility, but not so much in the memory care.

I felt Aria at Mitchell Manor was a little more cramped and a little more disorganized. I felt like there wasn't as much space and personal attention to the residents. I didn't think the tour person was as good as the other facility we went to. The dining room was OK, though. When it comes to the rooms, you have to share it with someone and to me, I would like to have privacy better for my mom. The memory care area wasn't as nice as the assisted living because the assisted living side had been recently remodeled, whereas the memory care had not.
